Mais qu’est-ce que Feutre ?
Un groupe bordelais faussement insouciant, indolemment mélodique, aux influences pop et variées ?
Fin 2019, Feutre s’est formé autour du bassiste et compositeur Michaël Korchia (qui sévit dans Vacance et a joué dans le duo indiepop Watoo Watoo) et de Virginie Raynaud, chanteuse et parolière,  à la formation jazz (qui officie aussi dans le Quartet Jazz De Ville). Après avoir mis en boite une dizaine de morceaux, le groupe s’est enrichi de Olivier Dubarry (guitare et orgue) et de Pierre Cazal (guitare).


Feutre dispose d’une douzaine de compositions originales, composées pour la plupart par Michaël et écrites par Virginie, et cherche aujourd’hui à sortir un disque ainsi qu’à se produire sur scène.

Feutre aime et peut s’inspirer de la pop des 60s aux 80s et de probablement plein d’autres choses. On peut y retrouver un soupçon de Bowie, une basse sortie d’un Gainsbourg 70s, un synthé très new wave ou un orgue faisant écho à Stereolab… Le tout survolé par le chant très jazzy et mezzo-soprano de Virginie.

MJ Hibbett & The Validators have performed live on Radio One, had a Record Of The Year in Rolling Stone, an Album Of The Day on 6Music, released one of the first ever viral videos, toured the UK and Europe, featured in an Edinburgh Fringe Festival show, and recorded a science fiction rock opera, all while maintaining their complete independence from outside record labels. They've had a bloody good time doing it too.
