Taken from her We, Meggy EP - a collaboration with a selection of her favourite producers - the Berlin DJ/vocalist sings of love and loss as the track plays builds to an end-of-the-night number.

Montréal-based Marie Davidson is something special. Creating dark and ominously sexy synth-laden tracks, the artist weaves her poetry - sometimes English, sometimes French - into the smokey atmosphere as spoken word. Taken from her second LP, Un Autre Voyage (out April 14th on Holodeck Records), Insomnie builds in intensity, layering electronic ladders as you make it through the haze and through another sleepless night. Following Marie's dreamy performance at SXSW, we are honoured to present the premiere of Insomnie and accompany the beauty on her nighttime journey. Join us!

“Change is good and necessary, but sometimes the motivation behind it is highly questionable”: Roxanne de Bastion, singer/songwriter and arts community advocate introduces her new song 'Wasteland', with a cry championing the revival of music cities and creative hubs.

About Roxanne de Bastion:
‘Wasteland’ is taken off of de Bastion's Seeing You EP, which is out on Hidden Trail Records now and available on iTunes, Amazon and Spotify.

Roxanne de Bastion was born and raised in Berlin, and is currently based in London. Since the release of her debut album “The Real Thing” in 2013, Roxanne has made a name for herself across Europe as “a real mover and shaker in the independent music scene” (Ruth Barnes). Following in the footsteps of the 1960's greats (think Dylan, Nyro, Mitchell and a touch of Beatles psychedelia), de Bastion is on the forefront of the new Singer/Songwriter generation, alongside Daughter, St. Vincent and Regina Spektor: someone with something to say and a musicality to match.

Jeremy: “I’ve heard it said that we in the British Isles love an underdog. That might be true on reality TV, but in real life those who have no power and no voice are not really loved: they are persistently downtrodden, accused of ripping us all off or finding themselves pawns in a dated but ever-enduring class system that serves little purpose other than to keep the power predominantly in the hands of those who had the means to buy their way to success. Little room for a youngster growing up on an estate who may have fantastic ideas and the will and strength to develop them, but whose disadvantaged start in life - perpetuated by a deeply flawed and biased education system - will always count against them. We don’t have an equivalent of the “American Dream”, as imperfect as that idea may be in practice. Perhaps we need one.”
