Some points discussed during this Khuṭbah:

- The dress code of the Muslim 
- The rotation of the seasons and weather is a sign from Allāh 
- The heat of summer and reflecting upon the heat of the Hellfire 
- The two exhalations of the hellfire
- The relation to the story of Ibrahīm عليه السلام
- The statement of Al-Hasan Al-Basri رحمه الله regarding the heat and cold of the dunyā
- Reflecting upon the severe heat of the hellfire and the unrelenting, eternal punishment therein

- ۞ هَـٰذَانِ خَصْمَانِ ٱخْتَصَمُوا۟ فِى رَبِّهِمْ ۖ فَٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ قُطِّعَتْ لَهُمْ ثِيَابٌۭ مِّن نَّارٍۢ يُصَبُّ مِن فَوْقِ رُءُوسِهِمُ ٱلْحَمِيمُ ١٩
{These two opponents (believers and disbelievers) dispute with each other about their Lord: then as for those who disbelieved, garments of fire will be cut out for them, boiling water will be poured down over their heads.} [22:19]
