Area Man (singer-songwriter Stephen Bak's pseudonymous self) is a project with roots in American folk music that are snarled happily betwixt Alternative and indie-rock elements. Transcendental Utopian imagery, scattered like bird droppings across the unpredictable Pollock canvas of postmodern existentialism, often becomes apparent in the songs.

The humble narrator knows that the above statement is, quite literally, full of shit. 

Area Man's debut album, a concept piece loosely based around an allegorical canary trapped inside a daunting American coalmine, will be released in 2017.
