Italian renegade Cioz is welcomed to Get Physical with two terrific new tracks that showcase his rich style. 

Cioz is utterly self-taught so never adheres to any rules. This lends his music an unpredictable and original quality that has led to artists like Super Flu, Andhim and Solomun all supporting him in the past. Cioz has also founded Knobs Bergamo; a community-based creative hub in Bergamo (Italy) where artists unite, collaborate, develop ideas and create. Following on from outings on the likes of Monaberry and Einmusika he now comes correct on the German giant, Get Physical Music. 

Majestic opener ‘Lucky Shot’ is an epic eight-minute journey into deep, rubbery drums and brilliantly loose and expressive synth lines. They do real gymnastics over the course of the track, with smeared pads, more dynamic chords and soul infused lines bringing plenty of warmth and colour to this groovy number. The careful addition of some female vocal sounds help elevate it yet further and will surely win the hearts of dancers everywhere. 

The supple ‘Cookie Man’ is another absorbing, deep and atmospheric house track with cleverly interwoven rhythmic and musical layers. The drums sashay about and get your hips moving, the lead synth is a curious one that makes the mind wander and the whole thing exudes real colour and soul to make it an immediately loveable track. 

These are two tasteful and characterful tunes from an ever more essential talent.

Per Guido, si tratta di amore da sempre, era pressochè un bambino infatti quando s’avvicina all’universo dei party e comincia a mischiare dischi sotto il nome di Solosox, rispolverandolo proprio quest’anno. OMDG, aka Tonmoy, is a Dj & Co-founder of Farmhaus & Rumours, Dhaka. He is at the heart of underground dance music revolution in Bangladesh. He started his journey in 2014 as promoter with an aim to promote & curate underground house and progressive music in Dhaka, but as time progressed, he started making his mark as a prominent Dj, in Bangladesh. His style uniquely merges multiple genres of progressive, electronica and indie dance music into a captivating euphoric experience which soon became his trademark style which is loved by music listeners and ravers across Bangladesh. 
He got recently featured for Italian music/event label ‘Nebula Collective’ which gave his first break at global stage. 
As a part of Farmhaus & Rumours he hosted Sebastien Leger, Brian Cid, Budakid, Luka Sambe, Yoram, Boris Rubin, Sabura, Dan Buri, Dott, Sunju Hargun. Among his recent accolades he opened for Agents of Time, Budakid in Dhaka  & Praveen Achary in Mumbai.

A lot has happened in the last 20 years of dance music, but one constant has been Get Physical right at the sharp end of the scene. The label has become a globally recognised symbol of quality, renowned for its always varied and vital house output. Forming the backbone of the label's vast catalogue is the influential in-house DJ mix series, Body Language. It is a snapshot of exactly where the underground is at and has been assembled by tastemakers such as Azari & III, Catz ‘N Dogz, Dixon, DJ Hell, Francesco Tristano, Nôze and of course label-founders Booka Shade, DJ T., and M.A.N.D.Y..

Next to that there has been a constant stream of innovative, dance-floor ready singles, crossover club classics, seminal remixes and a number of standout artist albums. The label has always stayed true to its house roots, but with a rich array of influences taken from the worlds of disco, deep, tech and melodic house. Along the way, Get Physical´s core artists have been joined by red hot new talents including Alinka, Thandi Draai, PAUZA, Yulia Niko, Birds Of Mind, CIOZ and Monkey Safari. There have also been carefully considered forays into thriving house music scenes in Africa, Brazil, Cuba, Croatia and India: dedicated compilations and EPs have highlighted those region's most exciting new talents and given them a global platform. 

The name says it all: Get Physical tracks could hardly be more moving and corporeal. It was true in 2002, and it will be true in 2025 and beyond.
