DJ T. continues to be an electronic music giant with his steady stream of singles, remixes and albums, most often on Get Physical, the label he co-founded. The German maestro always evolves his sound and can do everything from disco-tinged and feel good to more stripped back and heads down. Following last year's Trans Orient Express album he is now back with another fresh perspective. 

The excellent 'Patci' is a euphoric offering that builds on old-school breakbeats. The trancey keys are clean and serene and constantly raise the energy over bristling drums. A spine-tingling breakdown is perfectly crafted so that when the drums drop again, hands will go in the air as the neon melodies return. 

This is a standout track from DJ T. who once again explores a new musical direction.

Adana Twins step up to deliver their own fantastic take on the standout lead single from DJ T.’s last album, Trans Orient Express. 

This German pair have been bringing their unique sounds to the scene since 2012 with their highly regarded tunes receiving the highest profile support possible, with the likes of Radio 1, Solomun and Tale of Us all falling for their darkly alluring charms. They run their own TAU label as well as releasing on a wealth of others from Dynamic to Watergate and have had an amazing twelve months, with a killer remix for Josh Wink’s ‘Higher State of Consciousness’ on Strictly Rhythm, a 12 month run on the Beatport Indie dance Top 10 with ‘My Computer’ and a chart topping single alongside WhoMadeWho on Kompakt. 

Their fantastic take on DJ T.’s ‘Trans Orient Express’ is a lush one, with plenty of retro-future chords washing over the groove. The whole track is colourful and bright, with a fresh disco energy and warm atmosphere that is truly irresistible. 

This is another big remix from the Get Physical camp.

Get Physical Music revisit the Trans Orient Express album this February as they invite Kiwi to remix alongside DJ T. himself.

An outer-space vibe is struck right from the off on DJ T. 's reinterpretation of ‘Bedouin Ride’, as ‘80s synth sounds combine with emotive chords and deep bassline sequences that rumble down low. Kiwi’s dynamic version of ‘Bazar Break Battle’ offers a slick balance of sweeping leads, the original’s captivating vocals and sharp snares to produce a hazy and haunting production.

DJ T. aka Thomas Koch is a stalwart of the electronic music scene, launching Groove Magazine in 1989 and co-founding Get Physical, he has served up four studio albums and a string of releases via Defected, Moon Harbour and Play It Say It. His highly anticipated latest album ‘Trans Orient Express’ gained broad critical acclaim upon its release last year.

A lot has happened in the last 20 years of dance music, but one constant has been Get Physical right at the sharp end of the scene. The label has become a globally recognised symbol of quality, renowned for its always varied and vital house output. Forming the backbone of the label's vast catalogue is the influential in-house DJ mix series, Body Language. It is a snapshot of exactly where the underground is at and has been assembled by tastemakers such as Azari & III, Catz ‘N Dogz, Dixon, DJ Hell, Francesco Tristano, Nôze and of course label-founders Booka Shade, DJ T., and M.A.N.D.Y..

Next to that there has been a constant stream of innovative, dance-floor ready singles, crossover club classics, seminal remixes and a number of standout artist albums. The label has always stayed true to its house roots, but with a rich array of influences taken from the worlds of disco, deep, tech and melodic house.
