Lonya heads up the Asymmetric Recordings label and is one of house music's most consistent DJs and producers. He's released with the likes of Stil Vor Talent and Sudbeat and collaborates here with Berlin-based Los Cabra who lands on the same labels and draws on his Latin roots to cook up melodically introspective sounds in the world of tech, Afro and deep house. Bremen-born singer, DJ and musician Marvin Jam completes the trio and is an in-demand vocalist who plays all over the world.

Between them they hit upon a magical deep house vibe with the magnificent 'All Things Come To An End'. It has seductively warm and cuddly beats and rolling bass with deft synths and organic percussion up top. The sensuous vocals bring the soul and plenty of intimate late-night feels.

This is classy cut that exhibits exquisite house craft.

Los Cabra joins the family with a serious three-tracker - Demasiadas Cosas.

Berlin-based live act, DJ and producer, Los Cabra has been making waves in his hometown for quite a while now. Already signed to Get Physical, Stil vor Talent and Sincopat to name a few, his melancholic soundscapes and unique percussion straddles the House & Techno landscape while paying homage to his Latin roots.

Title track, ‘Demasiadas Cosas’ opens with fierce energy. Saw-toothed bass and sparse percussion rattle the cage awakening the beast within. Growling now, the analogue is joined by soft pads that counterbalance, and keys that emote with whimsy. The sonic journey is ahead and you’re keen to take that first step into the unknown.

Joined by Carlos Barbero ‘Deltoid’ is a deeper, darker path from the off. Arps play off one another as off-kilter FX add the right amount of late night wonk. Intensifying towards the break the track comes alive and hypnotises, powering forward even more intently in the final half. Finally, solo again, ‘Plastic’ finds Los Cabra in a reflective mood. Subtly tribal and haunting, the tracks takes its time to grow, working its hypnotic magic on the floor.

The intricate sounds and spacey dynamics continue on the title track and with its glacial keys then replaced by soothing synth on Warm Summer Evening, the flow and symmetry of the whole release becomes a joy to behold.

Beirut duo 3LIAS & Nesta round off the release with a warm, uplifting and bass-driven rework of 'Still Waters Run Deep'.

A lot has happened in the last 20 years of dance music, but one constant has been Get Physical right at the sharp end of the scene. The label has become a globally recognised symbol of quality, renowned for its always varied and vital house output. Forming the backbone of the label's vast catalogue is the influential in-house DJ mix series, Body Language. It is a snapshot of exactly where the underground is at and has been assembled by tastemakers such as Azari & III, Catz ‘N Dogz, Dixon, DJ Hell, Francesco Tristano, Nôze and of course label-founders Booka Shade, DJ T., and M.A.N.D.Y..

Next to that there has been a constant stream of innovative, dance-floor ready singles, crossover club classics, seminal remixes and a number of standout artist albums. The label has always stayed true to its house roots, but with a rich array of influences taken from the worlds of disco, deep, tech and melodic house.
