The agenda-setting D.O.C. Records is back with another of its superbly emotional releases, this time from Marco AS who offers two of his trademark grooves, while L_cio and Massumi serve up a remix. 
 
 Opener "Multiple Dividers" kicks things off with a rubbing house bassline that has crisp, stark metal hits up top. A rugged lead synth adds weight and menace to this fantastically atmospheric cut.

 "Still" then has a brain-frying lead synth line tearing up the airwaves and sure to get hands in the air. A breathy vocal from Marco and big guitar licks add details to this most indie tinged electronic anthem. 

L_cio (label friend and artist) then mix “Multiple Dividers” into something textural and raw and perfect for the late-night hours with Massumi also providing the cello parts to devastating effect to close the EP with: “Multiple Dividers (L_cio & Massumi Cello Edit)”.

Marco AS is based in São Paulo and is a man behind important projects in the exploding electronic Brazilian scene.  
He started his career early and helped to pave the way to many electronic acts in the country. He is the founding member of the band “Influx” and “Click Box”.
In 2007, Magda and Troy Pierce released Click Box on their label Items & Things. After the great success, an invitation coming from Richie Hawtin to welcome the project in the main cast of artists on the label Minus.
 
With D.O.C.  Records Marco AS (previously Aka M.A.S.)  has already released: True Heart (DOC 016) and Driven by You featured on the DOC Magnum Vol1 compilation (DOC 011)

German duo Monkey Safari make a rare step away from their own
Hommage label for a vital debut on Get Physical Music.

For the best part of the last decade now, Lars Rühlemann and Sven Fröhlich AKA Monkey Safari have been serving up a quirky and curious take on house music that has brought real character to the dance floor. They have put out three absorbing full lengths as well as almost thirty EPs, and have made their Hommage label a vital one in the process.

Here they open their account with the excellent ‘Mantra,’ a propulsive house track with humid, jungle-like atmospheres, woodblock hits and elastic bass that really builds the pressure. It’s a warm and absorbing affair brimming with charm.

The perfectly hypnotic ‘Tollo’ then establishes another enchanting groove, this time with spoken word vocals intoxicating you further as the rubbery drums and soft, fat hits get you deeper into the groove.

This is perfect late night dance music for intimate parties and escapist
experiences.

A lot has happened in the last 20 years of dance music, but one constant has been Get Physical right at the sharp end of the scene. The label has become a globally recognised symbol of quality, renowned for its always varied and vital house output. Next to that there has been a constant stream of innovative, dance-floor ready singles, crossover club classics, seminal remixes and a number of standout artist albums. The label has always stayed true to its house roots, but with a rich array of influences taken from the worlds of disco, deep, tech and melodic house. Along the way, Get Physical´s core artists have been joined by red hot new talents including Alinka, Thandi Draai, PAUZA, Yulia Niko, Birds Of Mind, CIOZ and Monkey Safari. There have also been carefully considered forays into thriving house music scenes in Africa, Brazil, Cuba, Croatia and India: dedicated compilations and EPs have highlighted those region's most exciting new talents and given them a global platform. 

The name says it all: Get Physical tracks could hardly be more moving and corporeal. It was true in 2002, and it will be true in 2025 and beyond.
