We are super excited to welcome the new season with you, and proudly present our compilation for the 2016 season. This years compilation has been lovingly curated by our team to present a diverse selection, mixing the underground touch of berlin here and there, the sweet warmth of a vocal track like Alex Dimou’s, ‘This Time’, feat Black Soda, and always maintaining a careful dynamic balance and consistency throughout. Sandeman’s ‘No More Conversations’ weighs one end of the scale with a satisfying peak time thriller, alongside Roland Leesker’s own floor banger, ‘My Warehouse’. Tracks like martínek’s ‘She Bad’ operate a bit more relaxed, or ‘1141’ from George Vala, a fully functional flight into a higher realm. Robbie Akbal and Muk.ti team up and create a stellar low-down-groover, ‘Every Retreat’. Sunny open air tracks like the Daniel Dubb’s mix of ‘Everything You Got’ by m.O.N.R.O.E. are to be found as well. R+R even makes an appearance with another highly charged track, ‘L’essentiell’, keeping the tempo up in a fantastic way. All of this is delicately mixed by Roland Leesker, so grab the mix as well for easy listening. We hope we achieved what we set out to do, we wish you the best, and we’ll see you on this island!

Underground Audio welcome Atriea to the imprint with her 'Break This Down' EP.

A fresh moniker following the Toucan alias, Chloe opens the release with breathy vocals cutting over a pulsing low end pattern on 'Break This Down'. A lot has happened in the last 20 years of dance music, but one constant has been Get Physical right at the sharp end of the scene. The label has become a globally recognised symbol of quality, renowned for its always varied and vital house output. Forming the backbone of the label's vast catalogue is the influential in-house DJ mix series, Body Language. It is a snapshot of exactly where the underground is at and has been assembled by tastemakers such as Azari & III, Catz ‘N Dogz, Dixon, DJ Hell, Francesco Tristano, Nôze and of course label-founders Booka Shade, DJ T., and M.A.N.D.Y..

Next to that there has been a constant stream of innovative, dance-floor ready singles, crossover club classics, seminal remixes and a number of standout artist albums. The label has always stayed true to its house roots, but with a rich array of influences taken from the worlds of disco, deep, tech and melodic house. Along the way, Get Physical´s core artists have been joined by red hot new talents including Alinka, Thandi Draai, PAUZA, Yulia Niko, Birds Of Mind, CIOZ and Monkey Safari.
