Once again, we meet on the warm sunny beaches of Miami for another spring, another round and another set. This year’s compilation comes at the hand of one of Get Physicals’ latest inductees, American up-and-comer, m.O.N.R.O.E., who delivers a great set of hot and bouncy tech-house tracks. The journey starts with Daniel Dubbs ‘Steel Trap’, who effortlessly takes the lead and clears a sonic path with rhythm of steamy pressure while twisted steel drums flutter. Paul C & Paolo Martini & Anek continue in a similar vibe, albeit deeper, before Penwood changes it up a bit with a taste of dub-infused afterhour bliss. Next is the chart-topping Emanuel Satie edit of ‘I Get Deep feat. Roland Clark (Late Nite Tuff Guy Remix)’, this one speaks for itself, if you haven’t heard it yet – get ready. Next, Smash TV make a welcome appearance with a tight house number, ‘Daddy’, and carry the torch further to Ali O'sullivan - At Right. This one is another big blend of techno and house that is almost more tech than house with its massive kick and wonderfully aggressive percussion. Finley calms the scene right about now with a chilly Experimental-esque track that finds its roots in a smooth, jazzy chord construct. ZOHKI feat. DE VANNA present a bubbly house track that plays in a similar space as the one before, with ZOO BRAZIL changing the mood up in ‘Trum’. ‘Flashback’ takes us on another unexpected ride with some very particular and engaging atmosphere and organic feel. Lastly, You Shtak give us one last shot of bass and adrenaline before the lights come up. A gritty, heavy track that turns and rolls on the floor, taking everything along with it as it slowly blooms to reveal stirring strings and a heightened atmosphere.

Silhouette mastered her skill of blending beats so eloquently it will shudder your skin with goosebumps and has developed skills across multiple genres including deep house, indie house, electro house, G house, tech house, break beats, dubstep, drumstep, garage, drum n bass, glitch hop, trap and twerk. Hailing from “The Biggest Little City” where she graced the arches and dance floors of Reno, NV; she is ready to take the Mile High City on an epic journey with her fusion of heavy thwomping basslines interwoven with soul and harmonic chords to wake the dancer in each of you. 

She brings with her the experience to mark her resume by sharing the decks alongside some of the masters; Ana Sia, Carly D (Gruntworthy), Bass Science (Made in Glitch), Gemini & Koan Sound, Connie Icon, WellGroomed, Reid Speed (Play me records) & Keith McKenzie (ill Productions) and by playing the Top Clubs in Reno, NV including Wurk, Cargo, 1up, Rise, Edge, Bluebird & Tonic. 

She has been a part of Bump Sound Collective and played multiple parties including Elemental Festivals and weekly events and crawls since 2007. She ran Vanity AfterDark in 2009-2010 in Reno, NV with her former partner in crime. She also played the main stage at DurtyNV events such as Fur & In Dust We Trust. She recently taught for "We Can Do It" Wednesdays; an all female dj workshop to encourage the female DJ culture. A lot has happened in the last 20 years of dance music, but one constant has been Get Physical right at the sharp end of the scene. The label has become a globally recognised symbol of quality, renowned for its always varied and vital house output. Forming the backbone of the label's vast catalogue is the influential in-house DJ mix series, Body Language. It is a snapshot of exactly where the underground is at and has been assembled by tastemakers such as Azari & III, Catz ‘N Dogz, Dixon, DJ Hell, Francesco Tristano, Nôze and of course label-founders Booka Shade, DJ T., and M.A.N.D.Y..

Next to that there has been a constant stream of innovative, dance-floor ready singles, crossover club classics, seminal remixes and a number of standout artist albums. The label has always stayed true to its house roots, but with a rich array of influences taken from the worlds of disco, deep, tech and melodic house. Along the way, Get Physical´s core artists have been joined by red hot new talents including Alinka, Thandi Draai, PAUZA, Yulia Niko, Birds Of Mind, CIOZ and Monkey Safari. There have also been carefully considered forays into thriving house music scenes in Africa, Brazil, Cuba, Croatia and India: dedicated compilations and EPs have highlighted those region's most exciting new talents and given them a global platform. 

The name says it all: Get Physical tracks could hardly be more moving and corporeal. It was true in 2002, and it will be true in 2025 and beyond.

Hardly anyone can play effortlessly from one genre to the next. The styles in which Marcism feels at home seem almost inexhaustible. In addition to his great musical knowledge, the Zurich native plays his sets with a confidence and naturalness that makes you buy everything he does as a dancer. His strength, however, lies in house and techno - groovy tracks with lively synths that get even the last person on the dance floor to dance.
