This electronic duo focuses on playing live and has risen through the vibrant Swiss scene to be one of the hottest acts out there right now. EPs on Drumpoet Community and Zukunft Recordings have established their rolling underground sound and showed off their love of analogue bass and spacey synths. Now they explore cinematic house on their latest two cuts on Get Physical.

Opener ‘Blue Valentine’ is a sensual, laid-back deep house track with dreamy pads and airy rhythm guitars drifting around a gentle groove. The vocals by Berlin underground hero Khan (Khan of Finland) are heartfelt and add to the soul-soothing effect of the track overall.

‘Nelson' shows another side of the duo - more straight-forward and energetic, but just as stylish. Here they carry you off into a cosmic sky, with great effects and silky arps layering emotion, light and intensity in equal measure.

These are two stable and tasteful house tracks to bring heart to any set.

A lot has happened in the last 20 years of dance music, but one constant has been Get Physical right at the sharp end of the scene. The label has become a globally recognised symbol of quality, renowned for its always varied and vital house output. Forming the backbone of the label's vast catalogue is the influential in-house DJ mix series, Body Language. It is a snapshot of exactly where the underground is at and has been assembled by tastemakers such as Azari & III, Catz ‘N Dogz, Dixon, DJ Hell, Francesco Tristano, Nôze and of course label-founders Booka Shade, DJ T., and M.A.N.D.Y..

Next to that there has been a constant stream of innovative, dance-floor ready singles, crossover club classics, seminal remixes and a number of standout artist albums. The label has always stayed true to its house roots, but with a rich array of influences taken from the worlds of disco, deep, tech and melodic house. Along the way, Get Physical´s core artists have been joined by red hot new talents including Alinka, Thandi Draai, PAUZA, Yulia Niko, Birds Of Mind, CIOZ and Monkey Safari. In the 70s, my mother brought Mike Oldfield vinyl from Paris and my father listened to Triana and Medina Azahara cassettes while I was not even a life project.
I was born on the last day of July 1987 among musical waves of all kinds but really, it was the 90s that marked me and most influenced my electronic tastes, thanks above all to my family. To this day, forceful and elegant techno with refined bass drums, crowning a melody that makes me elevate my senses, is what fills my soul the most in doses directly proportional to the final catharsis.
