Tief Music mainstays Sisterhood release their second EP for the label following up their hugely successful 'Call Me Ishmael' released back in 2013. Tunnels features three original tracks showing the London based duo's versatility and maturity as producers. The EP kicks off with 'Doublespeak', a hard-hitting peak time track, filled with arpeggiated synths and dubbed out FX. 'Tunnels' is deep and sparse, slowly building throughout its 7 minute run. Bicep reconstruct the title track, morphing it into a punchy, bassline focused roller with piercing atmospheric pads. 'Believe' closes the EP, a dreamy, sample based track utilizing beautiful floating chords to great effect.

Having been featured on Body Language Vol. 17, WhoMadeWho’s delicious vocal track ‘Hi & Low’ is back with remixes form Emmanuel Satie, Mineo, Konstantin Sibold, as well as M.A.N.D.Y.’s Higher & Lower remix. 

The original is a warm blend of smooth vocals and catchy pop-dance set in an almost melancholic tone and loads of warmth. 

Konstantin Siblold’s remix shares a bit more with the original, keeping the trodding vibe and bouncing basslines to create a looser, more relaxed groove.

M.A.N.D.Y.’s ‘Higher & Lower’ remix feeds on an alternative vibe, with traditional approaches taking a backseat to a more independent and organic approach, while still letting the machines speak.  

Mineo's perspective is as captivating as it is elegant. The chopping and screwing paired with the brilliant and original synth work emits a refreshing original vibe, with influences from diverse genres to be heard throughout.

Emanuel Satie strips the drack down to the bones; giving the focus to the diverse elements before slowly rising into a tech-house killer.

As the Summer draws to a close Serge Devant returns once more to Damian Lazarus’s Crosstown Rebels with the highly infectious ‘This Moment’ EP. Serge original tracks are accompanied by a great Dinky remix, to complete this great package.

Opening up the EP with ‘This Moment’, Devant has created a track that implores the listener to stop and take in all the vibrations, effects and melodies. This is a piece of music that intricately weaves together a hefty bass, curious sounds and an addictive horn. Pay close attention to ‘In Time’ and you will be absorbed once more in an enchanting world where all you can do is follow the rhythm of the drums. On the flip and Dinky adds her signature vocals, and hooky synth stabs creating a deep and textural remix of ‘This Moment’.

The masterful trio of Timo Mass, Basti Grub and Eric Volta showcase their combined musical muscle on the
latest release forthcoming on supreme Berlin imprint, Mobilee. With an impressive remix package featuring
Rodriguez Jr. and Martin Buttrich to drop in the Summer.

The initial release in May delivers two variations of the title track. Opening with the original mixdown, We Were Riding
High is a sublime summer anthem. Over two years in the making, it’s a lucid after-hours track with an uplifting and
catchy vocal hook that unfolds and develops fluidly. The alternative edit utilises darker synths and drums, whilst still
retaining the positivity that make this track perfect for the coming summer months. This record is the result of Eric
Volta making the demo at an after-party at his studio. He then showed this to Timo Mass who in turn showed it to
Basti Grub who loved the track so much, they were inspired to develop it.
“What started as a night out in Berlin visiting Club Der Visionaire, Chalet and ending in Watergate continued into my
studio on Reichenbergerstrasse at about 9am. One of those fun afters which result in me grabbing whoever is near
me, a little drunk and a little high and just wanting to play instruments, synths - and JAM. As the lyric goes - We were
riding high, writing through the night” Eric Volta

“A few days later I heard that demo and immediately ask Eric to finish it as it’s so unique and, as it sometimes goes, he
didn’t finish it. I asked him many times, roughly over a period of 2 and a half years until i sat with Basti in the studio,
played it to him and we immediately made a new version, Eric loved it. And here’s the result! We are all super proud of

Two time Grammy nominated Timo Maas has an extensive musical background, spanning over thirty years. He’s
worked with some of the world’s biggest stars including Madonna, Depeche Mode and Fatboy Slim. Basti Grub heads
up his own label, Höhenregler, and is known for his exotic, African-influenced productions. He’s released on some
premium labels including Cocoon, Get Physical, Desolate and Cr2. Born in London but very well traveled, Eric Volta
shot into the spotlight with Love Your Illusion and since releases on Dirtybird, Visionquest, Four:Twenty Re

A lot has happened in the last 20 years of dance music, but one constant has been Get Physical right at the sharp end of the scene.
