Heart2Soul Inc. are a British Dance Music production duo made up of DJ’s whom you’ll probably know quite well; Steve Lee and Frank Mac. The guys deliver a quality House/Deep House musical style, one of percussion, melody and depth.

Both Steve & Frank have been involved in the UK Dance music scene since the 1990s. Originally crossing paths at the legendary Turnmills Club where Steve's residency continues to this day, now at London's Ministry of Sound.  A combination of these talents have seen the duo start to make waves in the music scene. Going from strength to strength, with their first track signed to Eton Messy Records at the end of last year.

The crew here at Phonetic are very excited to have the lads on-board, kicking off with their new ‘Sacred Heart’ track, featuring NYC’s Sonny Dre on vocals, lyrics written by the guys, road tested by our very own Rob Roar to a string of enquiries and a serious Dancefloor response.  

Steve & Frank hail their many influences as; ‘The best of Dance Music from 1990 to Present’. The likes of Graeme Park, The Hacienda, Danny Tenaglia, Danny Rampling, Terry Farley and many more.

As Guy J's exceptional Lost & Found imprint reaches the milestone 50 releases, they look back at 3 moments which have made the label so successful. Bristling with talent, the label has showcased the amazing Israeli progressive scene like no other. First up comes long time friends and collaborators, Sahar Z and Navar with their 2017 smash, When We Face Reality re-edited by an inspired Khen. Deep, soulful and utterly beguiling, the melodies soar in melancholy wonder. Khen is the next artist to get the remix treatment, this time from Belgian superstar Hermanez. Focusing on Khen's incredible sound design, Hermanez builds a uniquely melodic groover from all manner of percussive sources. Finally, Luka Sambe's Sooti, here gloriously reimagined by Eli Nissan. The most uptempo of the trio, Eli weaves a nuanced tail with sweeping sonics, deep pads and cleverly orchestrated toplines.

Guy J's seminal label celebrates its 50th release with a two remixes of famed Israeli artist, Eitan Reiter. Having recently finished his second long player, Reiter has the uncanny ability to create a bewildering cross section of styles with aplomb. Featured here are Guy's remixes of 'All That I Know' and 'Fade Away' which have been big crowd pleasers in his shows this year.



'All That I Know' was originally released on Armadillo Records back in November 2017 as part of his second solo album, Give It Life. In original form, its space rhythms and delicate sonics shape the track atmospherically. Guy takes that energy and injected his own dance floor voodoo to add some necessary late night groove.



Also taken from the Give It Life album, 'Fade Away' marries deep pads, trip hops beats and influences of Shoegaze. Upping the tempo and adding a hefty dose of funk from the off, Guy brings this detailed and finespun masterpiece onto the frontlines of twenty first century clubland. Subtle and patient the pay off is in the ride.

After many years releasing largely on his own UKW label, Zombie Nation now makes a huge debut on the mighty Get Physical Music.

Zombie Nation is German DJ and producer Florian Senfter, the man behind a massive collection of esoteric electro and techno tracks and albums. A mainstay of International Deejay Gigolo and Turbo, Senfter twists weird sounds and computer game soundtracks into his own frizzled version of techno. Also a mesmeric live artist, he is a collector of vintage synths and that always shines through in his richly textured music.

First up here is the brilliantly twisted ‘Ticket.’ It’s a typically unusually tune with bobbling bass that keeps you on your toes as lead synths get skewed, stretched and smeared in all different directions. The groove builds and builds and its Zombie Nation’s mastery of his machines that keeps you locked in.

Then comes ‘Drafty’, a more curious and deep tune that sucks you down the rabbit hole where piano chords and warped synths keep you on edge. Crisp boom-bap drums drive the whole thing along and ensure this is another classic Zombie Nation freak-out.
No one sounds like Zombie Nation even after all these years, and this EP proves that once again.

A lot has happened in the last 20 years of dance music, but one constant has been Get Physical right at the sharp end of the scene. The label has become a globally recognised symbol of quality, renowned for its always varied and vital house output. Forming the backbone of the label's vast catalogue is the influential in-house DJ mix series, Body Language. It is a snapshot of exactly where the underground is at and has been assembled by tastemakers such as Azari & III, Catz ‘N Dogz, Dixon, DJ Hell, Francesco Tristano, Nôze and of course label-founders Booka Shade, DJ T., and M.A.N.D.Y..

Next to that there has been a constant stream of innovative, dance-floor ready singles, crossover club classics, seminal remixes and a number of standout artist albums. The label has always stayed true to its house roots, but with a rich array of influences taken from the worlds of disco, deep, tech and melodic house. Along the way, Get Physical´s core artists have been joined by red hot new talents including Alinka, Thandi Draai, PAUZA, Yulia Niko, Birds Of Mind, CIOZ and Monkey Safari. There have also been carefully considered forays into thriving house music scenes in Africa, Brazil, Cuba, Croatia and India: dedicated compilations and EPs have highlighted those region's most exciting new talents and given them a global platform. 

The name says it all: Get Physical tracks could hardly be more moving and corporeal. It was true in 2002, and it will be true in 2025 and beyond.
