Who am I, the host?
	I’m a college student who fell into the same trap of downloading TikTok during quarantine like many of you. I am always looking at the newest viral trends and am here to debunk them. A product can go viral and be sold out on shelves and online the next day. I am here to tell you if they’re worth getting or forgetting.

The crimping hair style is a must get and I recommend the one linked from Amazon. It is such a fun hairstyle suited for short, medium, or long lengths in hair. It is very in style and on trend. The key is to have hair that was washed the day before, I promise!

This recipe saw creator Emily Marikos shoot to stardom overnight and has been covered by major companies like E! News, Slate Magazine, and Delish. She is now a verified creator on the app TikTok with a blue checkmark and over 5 million followers. I made it and here’s what I think. I loved it but you have to like salmon, seaweed with your sushi, and avocado in order to enjoy this fun, trending, and easy recipe.

TikTok has changed the nail salon industry from Gel to SNS by exposing the harmful effects of getting gel nails and putting your hand under the UV light. Even more than the SNS method of getting nails done, the crazy nail designs are trending. I stepped out of my comfort zone and got a design. My thoughts are based on the occasion. I started to feel silly going to class and work with pink cow print on my nails but could see how they would be incredibly fun to have for a weekend in Nashville. I received way more attention and compliments on my nails by having a design. The major ones trending include cow print, leopard, different color swirls, icons on nails, and alternating colors on each nail. Have fun with it!

Porducts and hacks that go viral often sell out on shelves and in stores the next day, proving the real impact of the viral culture on the platform. Are these trends really worth all the hype and millions of views?
