Breaking glass ceilings, Forty Cats rises to new heights from the edge of the cavernous Barents Sea. A seismic beat and rising melodic tide shapes "Ledokol". Sonic soundscapes coalesce like shifting northern lights in a velvet sky. Continuing the story, an iconic name reproduces a trademark groove in classic rolling patterns. Swirling arpeggios light up the sky as emotion pours out of the breakdown. Finnish flair from the Cid Inc. studio conjures up another powerful reminder of a sonic force of nature.

Joining forces from the southern hemisphere, a high calibre pairing of indisputable talent create another Mango Alley memory. GMJ and Matter's ice cool sound ripples in pure waves of aural passion through "Ledokol". Shimmering pads and resonant bass groove share a perfectly balanced juxtaposition. Polish flair combines with Alley founder – Rafa'EL and Mango create a surge of elemental power. Familiar themes echo across rolling groove with hypnotic precision as melodic tropes anchor through icy reverberations of bassline poise and rhythmic grace.

The latest release from Madloch's Sound Avenue welcomes Ercos Blanka back to the label for a new EP. A musician for the majority of his life, Italian artist Thierry Viti aka Ercos Blanka began his journey playing guitar at the age of seven, while taking cues from the likes of Fabrizio De André, Battisti, Mina and eventually Pink Floyd, the latter of which opened his mind to more experimental music. Three years on at the age of ten, Thierry was gifted a keyboard and a Kraftwerk CD, marking a turning point in his musical journey, one where he realized his true passion lay in electronic music composition. On the strength of early tracks such as 2011's ‘Digital Deep' and ‘Secret Love', Ercos established himself as a name to watch in the deeper realms of house and techno, pushing an aesthetic that was both haunting and effortlessly cool. Blanka's creative partnership with Sound Avenue began in 2020 and proved to be a resounding success, in the form of a contribution to the label's ‘Correlation' series with ‘Kafka', a track which generated more than 2.6 million streams on Spotify. Additional projects via Saisons and Seven Villas across the next four years would further establish Blanka's deep, dubbed out and character rich sound. Now, presenting his first project of 2024, Ercos makes a welcome return to Sound Avenue with a two-track showcase entitled ‘Heresy'.

Founded in 2020 Future Avenue is an electronic music imprint which operates under the Sound Avenue umbrella.
