Founder & A&R of Barbur Room and Barbur Music, Marco Barbiero splits the time between his homeland (Puglia, South Italy) & Berlin, where he lived for some years and founded his underground music platforms.

Barbur Room hosted international artists such as Charlotte De Witte, Deborah De Luca, Chus & Ceballos, Riva Starr, Giorgia Angiuli, Juliet Sikora, Fatima Hajji, Uner, Hito, Nakadia, Simina Grigoriu, Niko Schwind, Hector Romero & many others.

In the first decade of the millennium Marco played in so many gigs alongside artists like Marshall Jefferson, Roger Sanchez, Skin, Satoshi Tomiie, Hector Romero, Ralph Falcon & more.

Eclectic & creative, his music today moves between melodic, deep & Techno sound, often wandering in many shades of Electronic music.

In 2016 Barbur drew attention for his massive remix of Simina Grigoriu’s “Nunchaku”, debut work on her imprint label Kuukou Records. In fact, after this work for PK's wife, at the end of the year, the New York-based Big Shot Magazine included Barbur in the most infuential talents list of the year.

In 2020 Marco opened his label, Barbur Music, with his own releases, but also opening to other artists in 2021, releasing great Electronic music and finding new talents all over the world.

In the last years Barbur has collaborated with  Alexi Delano, Julian Wassermann, Simina Grigoriu, Alex Kennon, Claude Monnet and many other artists with remixes and EPs on labels like Nite Grooves, Frequenza, Kuukou Records & Barbur Music, of course.

Marco has also been invited on Cadenza Podcast by the big boss Luciano and his mixes are hosted on important platforms like Ibiza Global Radio, Electronic Groove, Deep House Amsterdam, Data Transmission, Music is 4 Lovers, Pioneer DJ Radio, Connect, Deep House Sweden & many other channels all over the world.

During the pandemic when the world was off from events and people had uncertainty setting in, Closer Orbit (aka Nicolaas Black) yearned for rave vibes, like the rest of us.  

Closer Orbit created the track “Piano Track” to push the desire for listeners to want to rave again and yearn for the dancefloor that was denied of during the pandemic. The track manifests the energy of an old skool type rave via the early 90s era. 

Filled with hints of soulful elements, warm chords, distinctive basslines, and classic house piano riffs, the track presents itself with the perfect blend of nostalgic elements that take groove-like energy to the next level. 

You can expect "Piano Track” to feasibly shift from funky to raw, much like the relationship between house & techno.
