Being known in our group of friends as the human jukebox, Nico lives and breathes music. With a unique collection of unknown gems, he is always on the lookout for the most special sounds out there. Not only his intuition, but also his storytelling skills have made him one of the main pieces of our LOKD collective.

▌I Welcher Track ist für dich ganz besonders in deinem Set?
Für mich stand als erstes " Regarde" von "Claap!". In das Lied bin ich schon lang verliebt und jetzt hat sich endlich ein ganzes Mixtape drumherum arrangiert.

▌II Was trinkst du beim Auflegen im Club?
Klassisch Sekt auf Eis. Aber ich habe auch schon Nächte mit Kamillentee hinterm Pult verbracht :)

▌III Hast du in der letzten Zeit etwas Neues gelernt? Neues Wissen, andere Inputs, neue Themen?
Anfang des Jahres habe ich angefangen, selbst elektronische Musik zu produzieren. Ich lerne und mache solang ich denken kann Musik, dass ich nun bald meine eigenen Tracks in Clubs spielen kann macht mich unglaublich glücklich und hibbelig.

Ever since I can remember , I’ve dreamed of playing at my first Burning Man. I’ve been visualizing this in my head for years now and this moment is finally here. 
The Deer is ready to leave Maxa Camp and I’m contemplating the playa for the first time. Its an incredibly powerful feeling. After the few hours I’ve been here, I’m nervous to enter this elevated DJ booth. Is it shaking from the bass or is it just me? I’m suddenly in the middle of lasers and friends, taking over the booth. A few minutes afterwards, I’ve forgotten every fear I had and I’m fully in control……..

Who are these guys, you ask? Two supremely talented DJ/Producers from Germany (where else?). Bespoke Musik connected to these fine gents through a mutual friend, Luis Rosenberg, who graced us with his fantastic, thoughtful, intricate, intelligent and thoroughly gorgeous mix last year... Creating a lush, rich soundscape that weaves in and out of various genres with ease throughout this nearly 2 hour mix, Philipp and Max produce what we already consider one of the finest, freshest and most creative mixes we've featured.

Bio:

Both having roots in Western Germany (or Nordrheinwestfalen, if you’re able to pronounce that), Philipp Fein and Max Schmitt found ancient techno Mecca Cologne to be their chosen home. It’s in that city where they started fruitful collaborations with like-minded beings as Johannes Klingebiel, Alma & Mater, and not least... each other. Products of said collaborations are various and colorful, be it music (of course), underground warehouse raves (the most sought after in the city), labels (namely "Ancient Future Now" and "Feines Tier“), or the opening of a new club (which will happen very soon). Keep your ears peeled for them.
