djimboh has been a musician all his life, learning classical instruments as a child before moving over to guitars and drums as a teenager, where he found his rhythmic calling. Despite dreams of becoming a rock star, it was a chance encounter on a pair of decks at a house party that ignited his obsession with electronic music.
Having honed his DJ skills over many years, he has developed a unique creative approach to mixing that values seamless melodic transitions as highly as impeccable tune selection. Since early 2019, djimboh has focussed on producing original music, scoring releases on labels like Earthly Delights, Mango Alley, OKO Recordings and Immersed, with his signature blend of subtly driving, melodic and emotive sounds.

Für einen kurzen Zeitraum hatte ich meinen Auftrag aus den Augen verloren und bin zurück in alte Gewohnheiten gefallen. Ich muss meinen Fokus wieder erlangen. Ich sammle mich kurz und berichte meinem Umfeld vom nächsten großen ComRa Event. Leider stoßen meine Bemühungen auf Desinteresse. Die Leute hier scheinen die Aufmerksamkeitsspanne eines Eichhörnchen zu haben. Ihre Aufnahmefähigkeit scheint vom ganzen Schall und Rauch beeinträchtigt zu sein. Ich beschließe daher nach der nächsten Kippe die Runde wieder zu verlassen. Draußen angekommen blendet das Tageslicht meine Augen. Doch schon nach wenigen Sekunden gewöhnen sie sich an das neue Umfeld. Daher lasse ich die obligatorische Sonnenbrille probeweise mal weg. Anstatt sich, wie ansonsten üblich, vor der Sonne bestmöglich abzuschotten, genieße ich ihre lebensspendende Energie. Diese seelische Aufmunterung kommt mir sehr gelegen und weckt in mir wieder neuen Tatendrang.
