Revealed in 2014 by leading French independant festivals Astropolis and the Transmusicales, Blutch has risen to the rank of up-and-comer producer, thanks to numerous releases on Astropolis Records, Nowadays, Délicieuse Musique, Barbecue and Dance Around 88, allowing him to collaborate with legends, such as US house pioneer Terrence Parker or Kompakt boss Michael Mayer, and the cream of contemporary producers: Lauer, Red Rack’em, Strip Steve, Mézigue or Maxime Dangles. From Laurent Garnier to Tom Trago, Blutch has received the support of the greatest artists, and the backing of media such as XLR8R, Resident Advisor, Ransom Note, Groove and Faze.

After promising beginnings between hip hop and abstract that have panicked the stream platforms, feverish and wandering house vinyls with soulful influences, contemporary and sunny disco beats, Blutch refines his production work with a thousand textures and sharpens a singular trademark between electronica, breakbeat and house, following in the footsteps of Rone, Bicep or James Holden. He unveiled the first outlines of this new identity on Astropolis Records with ‘La Cité des Etoiles’ EP in 2020, announcing the beginning of a new and long adventure on the label, which welcomes his debut album Jan.28, 2022, ‘Terre Promise’. A tribute to his native Brittany and a sonic turning point revealing a suave and generous electronic music in weightlessness between electronica, IDM, breakbeat, UKG and slow house. 

The first three singles ‘Cobalan’, ‘River’ and ‘Poplar’ announce a very successful first exercise of the long-format, accompanied by remixes from the cream of the French and European electronic scene: Jennifer Cardini & Damon Jee, Mézigue, Lauer, Maud Geffray, Madben, Malcolm.

Terre Promise is an album that will take on its full dimension on stage with a fabulous live AV, in collaboration with the motion designer Romain Navier who accompanies it with a captivating visual fable, a total immersion between two worlds, real and dreamlike, mixing meditative landscapes and abstract dreams. A dreamy and luminous scenography that perfectly illustrates Blutch’s universe.

Riding in with the power to deliver sunshine to world’s rainiest open-air events, Monkey Safari brings rays of light to whatever dance floors they cast their shimmering spell on. 

The German brothers have released on Get Physical numerous times over the years, but not since 2020's 'Palomar.' Their new single 'Ceremony' shows how their sound has evolved since then and comes after more than a decade of EPs and LPs on their own Hommage label as well as the likes of Anjunadeep and Spectrum. What defines the music of Lars Rühlemann and Sven Fröhlich - not least their 2021 album ‘Love Will Set U Free’ - is a curiousness and left-of-centre character that always embellishes each groove. That is once again the case here.

The sublime 'Ceremony' is seven minutes of deep but exotic house music. Expressive vocal wails drift in and out to spiritual effect while the warm beats roll deep. Shakers, lush pads and tropical melodies all bring the detail that makes this another standout cut.

With 'Ceremony,' Monkey Safari has already started to build anticipation for Body Language Vol. 24.

For the second batch of remixes of tracks from his Mod album, Acid Pauli drafted DJ Tennis and Jonathan Kaspar among others, but the remix that I connected with most is Lenka Toma's makeover of a track called "Life Polarizer." You'll hear the remix in Lenka's enchanting addition to the Afterhours series.

Grammy nominated engineer, producer and songwriter Steven Weston was brought up in Portsmouth, learning to play the organ as a kid, but an early obsession with electronic music soon had him trading it in for a set of turntables. At 18, he left for Spain, where he became a resident DJ on the Murcia coast. 

He’s been on the move ever since, touring the world playing keyboard for the likes of Ladyhawke, Charli XCX, Mikky Ekko and UNKLE. He was also the first and lead bass player in The KLE side project Badger Kull and cut his teeth as an engineer at Metropolis and Strongroom studios in London, working many years with the bands Chronixx & Rudimental at their studio Major Toms in Hoxton.

His inaugural dance music release came in early 2021 with a remix of Catch Me When I Fall from the Ronin I mixtape, which saw great support from John Digweed. 

After launching his own imprint Blank Dust with two EPs, he went on to release on Sasha’s celebrated Last Night On Earth with ‘Liquid followed by his Anjunadeep debut March 31st with the first single from his forthcoming After the Flow EP, entitled ‘Like I Used To’, featuring vocals from British singer-songwriter Låpsley.

Stelios Vassiloudis is a multifaceted composer, producer and DJ hailing from Athens, Greece. Active in the electronic music since the early 2000s, he has cultivated a sound of his own - one that reflects his rich and diverse musical background, transcending the dance floor via an emotional narrative of complex soundscapes, intricate harmonies and hypnotic rhythms.

Classically trained, with a Bachelor’s degree in acoustical engineering and a Master’s degree in composition and arrangement, Stelios carved his path in electronic music by traversing the globe as a DJ and live performer - performing at intimate underground clubs in Beirut, festivals in Miami, afterhours in Tokyo, beaches in Goa and mega clubs in Argentina. His studio prowess and coveted productions cemented his reputation as a versatile and acclaimed artist, as he developed a formidable discography on esteemed labels such as Bedrock, Poker Flat, Ovum, Constant Sound, Darkroom Dubs and Balance, among others.

Now, entering a new phase of his career, Stelios prepares to unveil his sophomore album, a collection of works that marks a departure from the narrow confines of club music and represents the essence of what he’s all about – an album that merges the limitless possibilities of electronic music, his formidable training in composition and his diverse influences. Ten years on from the release of his debut LP, his detail-oriented offerings remain incomprehensibly thought-provoking and thorough. After shutting down the bot following an incredibly powerful and meaningful temple burn for our camp, many of you thought that was the end of our 2022 Burning Man. However, a few hours later, the bus appeared in deep playa with Nico Stojan at the helm, just in time for one last sunrise. Here's looking forward to many more surprises and unscheduled moments together in 2023.

"What an honor it was to return to the Robot Heart bus for the final sunrise set of last year’s Burn! 

Originally, the Robot Heart team wasn’t planning on playing music Monday morning, so I was super happy when they asked me to play the last sunrise on the playa.

When I arrived at camp early Monday, the RH crew was just waking up and the bus was still sleeping, but there was an excitement in the air - so often it is those unplanned experiences at Burning Man that create the most magic.

We drove out to deep playa in the dark and before long had gained a wonderful crowd, everyone coming together to dance away their final hours in the dust. People were exhausted, but also energized from their week in the desert and not ready to return to the default world.

It was a super chilled last sunrise set that I thoroughly enjoyed - an unexpected morning that turned out to be unforgettable!"

We continue our Berlin Mixtapes series with an exciting young artist that is taking the deep house world by storm.

Next up we welcome Swiss🇨🇭 DJ and producer King Ben who is probably the pure opposite of a late bloomer - more of an early starter. Ben grew up near Zurich in a home with a wide variety of influences: His mother is Turkish, his father, who is a gifted jazz musician is Swiss, plus both have Spanish and Polish roots. No wonder Ben started playing the piano at the age of nine and after watching a DJ play for the first time at the age of twelve, Ben was hooked. It didn't take long for Ben to get noticed with his first release on a small label in Germany, followed by further releases on Berlin labels such as Kindisch, Bar 25 Music, Ouïe Circle and others. Today his tracks are played by international stars appearing in DJ sets, radio shows and guest mixes worldwide with a release portfolio that now spans across Berlin, Switzerland and the US. We caught up with Ben to find out more.

Hailing from the borderlines of Belgium's capital, Nico P is a Deep House DJ and underground veteran of the electronic music world. For nearly two decades now, Nico has continued to provide a smooth, deep, yet danceable and melodic soundtrack to the city of Brussels and beyond. A signature sound that has made him stand out from his peers and gain steady online recognition for his talents over the years. His diligent, consistent work has gained him acclaim in Belgium's thriving deep house scene. As well as becoming a household name to many party-goers that swarm to the dancefloors of the city every night.

Nico got bitten by the music bug at the ripe age of just 14, when he became infatuated with the electronic music of Belgium's booming club scene in the 90’s. Spending years listening to mixtapes from the local nights, he eventually started DJing himself. After being exposed to the local nightlife and seeing top DJs performing live, Nico knew that he needed to get out there and make a name for himself. So began his music career. From this moment on, he was hooked and eager to share his passion with the world. Starting out performing at small parties to develop his craft, Nico worked his way up to becoming a staple within the regional Deep House culture. His stage name Nico P, eventually becoming a regular sight on event flyers up and down the country at famous clubs such as Fuse, La Rocca and many more.

Things couldn’t be better for the artist these days. With time has come maturity, not just for Nico as a person but in terms of his art and career. Thousands of performances later and his sound has now developed into something instantly recognizable as his. Noticeably resembling a plethora of genres, combining influences reminiscent of old-school sub-genres such as techno and Progressive, with the modern sensibilities of Deep House. His experience and overall skill at what he does, has seen Nico perform alongside an array of high-profile musical talent over years. Sali zäme! We’re pleased to announce a phenomenal storyteller from Switzerlands nightlife capital to the Schirmchendrink counter: Temo Sayin shows off his tremendous skills with this tasty Jungle Bird! 

Temo Sayin, head of the Zurich underground movement «Die Empathie», shows, that music doesn't need to be hectic and cluttered to bring people into ecstasy. His deep, open minded organic sounds take you on an unique journey: Melancholic but not sad, sensitive but not cheesy, powerful but not crazy. Sentimental enough to close the eyes and still uplifting to raise the arms.

The Turkish-Dutch started started his DJ career with illegal events in his hometown Zurich, where he quickly gained a recognition for his sensual sets. It was only a matter of time he was invited to play at the most popular clubs across the city. Today, and if you happen to go out in Zurich, it'll be hard not to cross paths with Temo. He has made quite a name for himself and shares the stage with well known artists as Satori, Rampue, Miyagi and many others.
