A Friend of Marcus made an impressive launch on the scene in 2017 with his debut track 'She who Annihilates' featured on Henry Saiz’s Balance presents Natura Sonoris compilation; many calling it a stand out track. Released on NS again in March 2018 with a Petar Dundov remix, it saw support from Sasha, Henry Saiz, Hernan Cattaneo, Guy Mantzur, Eagles & Butterflies & more. 

His second release - a remix of Depaart’s “Blowing Smoke” came out on Sasha’s famous Last Night on Earth with support from Sasha, John Digweed, Guy J, Joris Voorn, Tiefschwarz, Fideles and many more. Then came “The Distant Water Beyond” on Booka Shade’s Blaufield, getting plays from Joseph Capriati, Lane 8, John Digweed, Paco Osuna, Nick Warren, Hernan Cattaneo and more.   November 2019 saw “Multiple Rays” as his second compilation listing, this time with Balance presents Vivrant with Jeremy Olander, featuring at the peak of the highly acclaimed double disc journey. Support from John Digweed, Henry Saiz, Eelke Kleijn, Nick Warren and more. His most recent release “Suspension Point”, his second release on Natura Sonoris came out March 2020 with two originals - “Ellipsis” and “Falling Short” - along with a killer techno remix from Blacktik.

As a DJ, A.F.O.M picked up a residency for Balance music’s global events, playing in Jakarta, Singapore and Noumea with Scuba, Apparat and Guy Mantzur. He’s also supported the likes of Solomun, Dixon and Guy Gerber in Melbourne, Shanghai & Mar del Plata along with playing the mighty Epizode Festival in Vietnam and legendary D-Edge in Sao Paulo. He’s performed in Asia at VENT and Womb in Tokyo, Iron Fairies in KL and Celia in Shanghai, as well as supporting Jamie Jones for two shows in Melbourne with Untitled Group including the infamous Wool Store. He is set to make his debut for Tronic in the next Ibiza season, and has upcoming shows at Vision in Tokyo along with a tour of India. His “I am not only colour” mixes continue to receive a ton of love online and his music and guest mixes have featured on Radio 3, John Digweed’s Transitions, Triple J Mix Up, Decoded Magazine, Proton Radio and more. 

A Friend of Marcus sets are full of exclusive tracks, unreleased edits and upfront promos along with his own works. The dedication to his art is evident in every set; each paced, structured and with a purpose. People often use the term ‘family’ these days, especially record labels; it’s a go to word that’s frequently over-used. But when it comes to Julian Wassermann & Raphael Mader it is highly appropriate as both are an important part of the Renaissance label roster with multiple releases to their names, ably demonstrating the future of house is in safe hands.

So, Renaissance were delighted when they got a call saying, “Guys, we’re teaming-up to start a new project devoted to electronica. Are you interested?” Their response was immediate to say the least, buoyed by the prospect of the label-family circle pulling tighter still... MODEM was born!

However, not satisfied with the strength of their burgeoning status, Julian and Raph decided to go a step further and invited heavyweight French production duo Betical to collaborate on what was to become ‘Marginal’, the first single taken from their forthcoming album, ‘Fahrenheit 52’.

'Marginal' was one of the first ideas we had,” explains Julian, “it’s a record full of wistful emotion and melancholy with that deep, dream-like quality that works so well with electronica.”

“We’ve both admired Betical for a long time,” Raph continues, “when they agreed to the collaboration we began by sending various sketches back and forth and they actually picked out ‘Marginal’”.

Betical then wasted no time in confirming their choice, “We immediately loved the track’s atmosphere and chord progression. We worked on a drum, added some melodies and a vocal and then kicked it back and forth until we all agreed it was over the finish line. We really enjoyed working with the guys and are proud of the final result!”

D.H.U.B discovered Electronic Music in 2013 after Moving in Montréal. His friend introduce him To the scene and went To a gig of Sasha. That night he understood that this was a life changing moment and he immediately felt in love with progressive house. By himself je started finding and discovering new DJ from all around the globe and as result he started learning djing in 2015 To spread his love for Music.

Today he is digging into Progressive House and Deep house and build up his set by Mixing Hypnotic tracks and add middle influence vocal and percussion to Take people in différent part of the globe.

Since 2013, experimental Italian producer Carlo Whale has been making waves, developing and  honing his craft in his hometown of Cagliari. Carlo Whale [Einmusika / Steyoyoke / Atlant] - Mix #118

Lunar Plane was founded by identical twin brothers, Emre & Mert Altinok. They discovered their passion for producing music while developing an electronic music streaming platform in 2014. Born in Istanbul, the brothers were on the national swimming team and attended Yale University where they studied biomedical engineering and economics. 

After signing a downtempo EP with Solomun’s label 2DIY4, Lunar Plane became the focus of the Altinok brothers. Fueled by their strong academic background and passion for music, the twins experimented with melodic techno, progressive house and electronica. As they discovered their unique style, the brothers produced a signature sound of emotional ethnic melodies accompanied by strong driving basslines, organic groovy drums, and deep ritualistic vocals.

Jean Vayat is a DJ producer from  Kyiv Ukraine, but at this moment based in LA, US. He started his DJ career in early 2000. Since that time his passion for music lead him to perform at numerous venues and Festivals such as White Nights festival in Kyiv in 2018 and 2019, De Sad River Rave, Heaven Club, Kvartira 54, and many others.
The desire to evolve and produce has gradually transformed into the writing of his own tracks. It was not difficult to find the perfect sound, as Jean was always drawn to oriental motifs. So in 2018 he had his first release on Sol Selectas. This was followed by releases on Katermukke, Harabe Records, Shango Records, Dear Deer, Art Vibes, Go Deeva, and others. A unique way of combining house music and oriental sounds has become artist's trademark.
