This is not about bathing in nostalgia however - we actually want to relive those sacred moments with you, by inviting those artists to open portals that allow us to step right back onto those packed spaces of rhythmically swaying dancers. 
Let's get lost in their art until we're finally reunited.

"My very dear friend Niki Sadeki asked for a podcast for Deep House Vancouver quite a while ago, but I was always busy and after we finally found a date I delayed it again and again :D I guess because she never gave me a proper deadline which I normally need to get started. Finally I managed to finish the mix which is a something in-between podcast and DJ set I would have played live. So the first part could stand alone but at some point I decided I want to keep going and brought up the energy again. I guess I’m more than ready to go back on stage. Hope to see you all soon! Mira is that rare kind of DJ whose music can immediately transport you into her world - a midnight circus in Berlin, where time loses all definition and anything becomes possible. 
As a resident at Bar25, Kater Holzig and her current home of Kater Blau, Mira has been a defining proponent of a deeper, more soulful and organic kind of dance music. 
Her yearly birthday events at Kater Blau ‘Katzen Tanzen auf’m Tisch’ attract thousands of international visitors every year, and have hosted a multitude of previously unknown artists who have now gone on to tour the globe. 
In the studio and behind the decks, Mira often collaborates with her partner-in-crime Christopher Schwarzwälder, and the two of them have released a host of chart-topping singles. 
Mira has been at the top of her game for the past twenty years, continuously shaping the sounds around her, and never ceasing to push inspiring new artists. As happy playing at a small underground club in East Germany in the 90s as she is playing to thousands of festival-goers at Burning Man - Mira is one of those artists of whom you can truly say that she’s doing it for the love of the music.

Dieses Mal nehmen wir euch mit in eine Geisterstadt. Verlassen ist jedes Haus und die Natur holt sich ihren Platz zurück. Geräusche sind selten zu vernehmen und das Gefühl der Einsamkeit schleicht langsam in die Körperzellen. Unser heutiger Act LieblingSstück hat sich Gedanken dazu gemacht, welche Musik zu so einem Ort passen könnte und Simon liefert die passenden Worte. Gemeinsam kreieren sie eine deep story, die einen perfekt durch die ruhigen Momente des Lebens begleitet. 

Wenn ich morgens aufstehe, riecht es schon nach dieser Mischung aus Düften, die es nur im Mittelmeerraum gibt. Noch immer weiß ich nicht genau, was es ist, obwohl ich schon oft darüber nachgedacht habe. Minze? Thymian? Oregano? Ich weiß es nicht, schön ist es trotzdem. Egal, ob man in Griechenland, Italien oder Frankreich ist, es riecht so. Und hier an der Makarska Riviera im Dorf Podaca auch. Podaca liegt direkt am Meer. Viel gibt es hier nicht. Zwei kleine Supermärkte, von denen einer stets geschlossen ist. Ein oder zwei Restaurants und einen gemütlichen Strand.
Zwischen den Büschen und den Steinen an den Hängen sind die zerbröckelnden Mauern einer Geisterstadt zu sehen. Das alte Podaca lag weit über dem modernen Ort. Heute ist es völlig verlassen. Ich freue mich auf den gruseligen Spaziergang hinauf zu den alten Ruinen. Vor Gespenstern habe ich keine Angst. Die schlimmen Sachen machen die lebenden Menschen. 
Es ist heiß. Schon nach den ersten Metern schwitze ich. Die Sonne brennt herunter und die Luft über dem Meer flimmert dem Horizont entgegen. Ich lasse die letzten Häuser von Podaca hinter mir. An einem Friedhof vorbei geht die schmale Straße in Serpentinen auf die Geisterstadt zu. Dann erreiche ich die ersten verlassenen Häuser der Geisterstadt.
Vorbei geht es an einem alten Wachturm. Der Blick über das neue Podaca und die Adria entlang der Makarska Riviera ist toll. Kein Geräusch ist zu hören und ich gehe die paar Meter ins Zentrum der kleinen Geisterstadt. Einen weiteren Friedhof und eine Kirche mit einem weißen Turm finde ich. Ein guter Platz zum Totsein. Die Gräber liegen direkt am Rande, bevor es steil hinab in die Tiefe geht. Zwischen den Bäumen steht ein Esel. Er freut sich, als ich zu ihm gehe und ihm Gras gebe. Vielleicht ist es langweilig hier oben ohne andere Esel.

Esther Silex (@esther-silex) has an unquestionable status as an impassioned powerhouse with enough West German swagger to create timeless music with equal parts simplicity and beauty. After a nomadic upbringing all around Europe she started to play records at the tender age of 17 and quickly became an integral part of her hometown Cologne’s house and techno scene. Now based in Berlin, her sets are anything but predictable, with an eclectic selection that somehow weaves seamlessly through techno and house to soul, funk, afro and disco. They are always a reflection of her musical diversity and don’t adhere to any formula, whilst remaining entirely and explosively dance floor friendly. She has releases on the Swedish power label 'Studio Barnhus' and her old label 'LIKE records' from Cologne. Since Summer 2019 Esther is officially KaterBlau-Resident and part of this legendary Berlin family.

Eine Biographie schreiben...? 
Garnicht so einfach. Vielleicht bewahre ich mir das auf für einen Zeitpunkt an dem ich " musikalisch" mehr erlebt habe..wobei die Musik und ich eigtl.schon etwas erlebt haben. 
Meine Teenagerzeit war geprägt von Klängen von Sisters of Mercy, Joy Division und U 2. Immer auf der Suche nach einem tieferen Sinn in Musik und ihren Texten und natürlich der Liebe. 
Ein lieber Freund  aus Jugendzeiten hantierte damals mit Technics und allerlei Technikschnickschnack rum. 
Eine Liebe dazu hatte ich schon damals, habe es aber nicht genügend verfolgt. 
Wie es wohl bei den meisten von uns ist,hat mich dann das Leben mitgerissen, mit Ups and Downs, Umzügen und Lebensveränderungen, der Geburt meiner Tochter...Ich hatte die Musik nie vergessen, dennoch hatte sie nicht mehr denselben Stellenwert. 
 Durch eine persönliche Lebenslage...habe ich den Stellenwert wieder neu definiert. Die Musik hat mich durch diese Zeit getragen. Ich liebe immer noch tiefgründige ,mitunter melancholische Sets, die ich selbst oft beginne aber nicht immer fertig stelle ,oft weil es mich selbst überwältigt. Meine Tochter, mittlerweile selbst Teenager kennt meine Musikbibliothek langsam ganz gut und findet langsam auch Gefallen daran .Ich selbst mag gerne kleine Clubs oder Musikbars ,wo die Leute wegen der Musik kommen und oft auch tatsächlich wegen dem besonderen Dj. Ich hoffe das euch meine Musik auch in euren unterschiedlichen Lebenslagen trägt .
