Revealed in 2014 by leading French independant festivals Astropolis and the Transmusicales, Blutch has risen to the rank of up-and-comer producer, thanks to numerous releases on Astropolis Records, Nowadays, Délicieuse Musique, Barbecue and Dance Around 88, allowing him to collaborate with legends, such as US house pioneer Terrence Parker or Kompakt boss Michael Mayer, and the cream of contemporary producers: Lauer, Red Rack’em, Strip Steve, Mézigue or Maxime Dangles. From Laurent Garnier to Tom Trago, Blutch has received the support of the greatest artists, and the backing of media such as XLR8R, Resident Advisor, Ransom Note, Groove and Faze.

After promising beginnings between hip hop and abstract that have panicked the stream platforms, feverish and wandering house vinyls with soulful influences, contemporary and sunny disco beats, Blutch refines his production work with a thousand textures and sharpens a singular trademark between electronica, breakbeat and house, following in the footsteps of Rone, Bicep or James Holden. He unveiled the first outlines of this new identity on Astropolis Records with ‘La Cité des Etoiles’ EP in 2020, announcing the beginning of a new and long adventure on the label, which welcomes his debut album Jan.28, 2022, ‘Terre Promise’. A tribute to his native Brittany and a sonic turning point revealing a suave and generous electronic music in weightlessness between electronica, IDM, breakbeat, UKG and slow house. 

The first three singles ‘Cobalan’, ‘River’ and ‘Poplar’ announce a very successful first exercise of the long-format, accompanied by remixes from the cream of the French and European electronic scene: Jennifer Cardini & Damon Jee, Mézigue, Lauer, Maud Geffray, Madben, Malcolm.

Terre Promise is an album that will take on its full dimension on stage with a fabulous live AV, in collaboration with the motion designer Romain Navier who accompanies it with a captivating visual fable, a total immersion between two worlds, real and dreamlike, mixing meditative landscapes and abstract dreams. A dreamy and luminous scenography that perfectly illustrates Blutch’s universe.

Riding in with the power to deliver sunshine to world’s rainiest open-air events, Monkey Safari brings rays of light to whatever dance floors they cast their shimmering spell on. 

The German brothers have released on Get Physical numerous times over the years, but not since 2020's 'Palomar.' Their new single 'Ceremony' shows how their sound has evolved since then and comes after more than a decade of EPs and LPs on their own Hommage label as well as the likes of Anjunadeep and Spectrum. What defines the music of Lars Rühlemann and Sven Fröhlich - not least their 2021 album ‘Love Will Set U Free’ - is a curiousness and left-of-centre character that always embellishes each groove. That is once again the case here.

The sublime 'Ceremony' is seven minutes of deep but exotic house music. Expressive vocal wails drift in and out to spiritual effect while the warm beats roll deep. Shakers, lush pads and tropical melodies all bring the detail that makes this another standout cut.

With 'Ceremony,' Monkey Safari has already started to build anticipation for Body Language Vol. 24.

We are back in 2013.
Beginning of 2012 a new name appeared on the international dancefloor: CLAPTONE (artist of the year 2012 in German Trendcharts DCC).
The track ‘CREAM’ became the worldwide Top Track (No.2) of Beatport in the category Deep House and was among the Top 10 of the most charted tracks for 2012 on Resident Advisor.
The new year brings 2 more surehots for the clubs: WRONG & NO EYES featuring JAW from dOP.
Early support by Tensnake, Solomun, Noir, Laurent Garnier, DJ T…

In a now long forgotten world, many generations ago, a bird like shape emerged from wooded darkness, floating and fluttering, drifting and dreaming. Backlit by a bright glow of iridescent light, the undecipherable form wore a dazzling golden mask. Its long beak swooped down like an inverted horn and since then, people have referred to the mythical being simply as Claptone.
Years spending wandering medieval landscapes have informed Claptone’s view of the world, experiencing both magical mystery and muted melancholy he enchanted onlookers with occult instruments and beguiling sounds. Forever surrounded by a sense of intrigue, the world soon cottoned on to the elusive yet enchanting musical powers of this otherworldly beast. The results are that today his shamanistic sonic powers take him all around the world.
Whilst Claptone has continued to roam in his own circles, 2012AD proved to be a year dominated by his infectious ‘Cream’ track. It became an immediate hit, topping new world charts at Beatport and RA, whilst the sonic conjuring of the ‘Night On Fire’ EP also lured all those who heard it, with the result another Top 20 hit. But that’s not all, for the creativity flows freely in our hero, and his ‘Another Night’ also proved to be just as successful on the dancefloor. Deep and woozy, the Claptone sound pairs theatre with tragedy, feel good vibes with acute melancholia and imbues each groove with a Rhodes laced funk, an organic string hook and myriad earthy elements.
Up to the present day, Claptone releases have been birthed on Germany’s influential Exploited label, picking up props from the likes of Pete Tong, DJ Sneak, Soul Clap, DJ Hell, Jesse Rose, A-Trak along the way. Who or whatever Claptone is, it is alive, with a life of its own, evolving and revolving in equal measure, exploring new sounds naturally and forever taking inspiration from long gone and occult worlds.
So far, esteemed and influential dancefloors at clubs in Berlin, London, Paris, Melbourne, Shanghai, New York and many others around the world have fallen under the sonic spell of this secretive alchemist. The future is unpredictable for Claptone, but a new release ‘Wrong’ including the track ‘No Eyes’ with the inimitable JAW from French funsters dOP is on the horizon. Beyond that, your guess is as good as ours…

Grammy nominated engineer, producer and songwriter Steven Weston was brought up in Portsmouth, learning to play the organ as a kid, but an early obsession with electronic music soon had him trading it in for a set of turntables. At 18, he left for Spain, where he became a resident DJ on the Murcia coast. 

He’s been on the move ever since, touring the world playing keyboard for the likes of Ladyhawke, Charli XCX, Mikky Ekko and UNKLE. He was also the first and lead bass player in The KLE side project Badger Kull and cut his teeth as an engineer at Metropolis and Strongroom studios in London, working many years with the bands Chronixx & Rudimental at their studio Major Toms in Hoxton.

His inaugural dance music release came in early 2021 with a remix of Catch Me When I Fall from the Ronin I mixtape, which saw great support from John Digweed. 

After launching his own imprint Blank Dust with two EPs, he went on to release on Sasha’s celebrated Last Night On Earth with ‘Liquid followed by his Anjunadeep debut March 31st with the first single from his forthcoming After the Flow EP, entitled ‘Like I Used To’, featuring vocals from British singer-songwriter Låpsley.

Stelios Vassiloudis is a multifaceted composer, producer and DJ hailing from Athens, Greece. Active in the electronic music since the early 2000s, he has cultivated a sound of his own - one that reflects his rich and diverse musical background, transcending the dance floor via an emotional narrative of complex soundscapes, intricate harmonies and hypnotic rhythms.

Classically trained, with a Bachelor’s degree in acoustical engineering and a Master’s degree in composition and arrangement, Stelios carved his path in electronic music by traversing the globe as a DJ and live performer - performing at intimate underground clubs in Beirut, festivals in Miami, afterhours in Tokyo, beaches in Goa and mega clubs in Argentina. His studio prowess and coveted productions cemented his reputation as a versatile and acclaimed artist, as he developed a formidable discography on esteemed labels such as Bedrock, Poker Flat, Ovum, Constant Sound, Darkroom Dubs and Balance, among others.

Now, entering a new phase of his career, Stelios prepares to unveil his sophomore album, a collection of works that marks a departure from the narrow confines of club music and represents the essence of what he’s all about – an album that merges the limitless possibilities of electronic music, his formidable training in composition and his diverse influences. Ten years on from the release of his debut LP, his detail-oriented offerings remain incomprehensibly thought-provoking and thorough. Norwegian duo Zimpzon & Braak recently showcased their talent for outstanding atmospheres and lush rhythms on Silk Textures, and Braak appeared on Silk Sofa with a chillout EP back in 2013. It is a pleasure for Silk Sofa to finally present a 3-track EP by the duo, entitled "North", including 3 outstanding downtempo pieces.

The title track starts out with a haunting atmosphere, in which we are soon met by a remarkably mesmerizing breakbeat and a wealth of surrounding pad layers. A light, blissful theme lead takes over the mix soon thereafter, and another soft melody takes over the mix in the latter half. The soundscape is continuously varied with stunning sound effects, which perfectly accompany the melodic layers.

In "Numb" a rougher atmosphere is hinted within the first minute; a prominent sound quickly takes control of the atmosphere, while frisky sound effects emerge beneath. Light percussion elements are introduced, while the soundscape lightens up and showcases a number of delightful melodies. An unmistakably breathtaking array of arpeggios emerges later, while accompanying light pads provide extra texture above.

This EP closes out with "Aurora", introduced by a soothing and calm soundscape with light pad lines and intriguing sound effects. Numerous strings quickly join the mix, and a stunning guitar line beautifully accompanies the other elements later. As the song progresses, the guitar gains more power towards the track's zenith, which is followed by a delicate and soothing outro.

We're pleased to showcase two very talented homegrown artists going by the name of Burudu for Getting Deeper's 98th set. Their sound is certainly something we don't find much in this country, but it has found a solid place in GD's sound universe. Unbound by genre orthodoxy, Burudu's music is a subtle exploration of styles from the past, present and the future. It is a nostalgic blend of deep, downtempo sounds, dusty jazz and a post-rock attitude. Their set for GD itself is a stunning journey of multiple aural trips crafted harmonically and authentically. We love it.

My problem is that I talk a lot... I really talk a lot... but I want to tell you a prisoner's story... the prisoner keeps digging until he reaches and escapes... and he finally sees the sun, but it is setting... he says freedom is sold and the people are not aware... everyone is a knife, stabbing his descent, and when that cures... there is a voice calling him... it tells him, "Come!... Come, let's forget the condition... hey man, there is no occupation... this is freedom... this is a water gun and a fake tank..." and the explanation becomes more difficult... and the explanation becomes more difficult ...
