Having shared the decks with everyone from Cubicolor to Martin Roth, and having a debut EP on Bedrock earlier this year, Canada's juSt b is swiftly becoming a name too hard to ignore. Her debut release on Balance delivers an exceptionally cerebral track that will sit flush in many sets. Also featured are four quality remixes that take in everything from deep techno, to breaks and more…

The deep beat on 'Light Sweeper' is undeniable with its mysterious energy. Glacial synths sweep the top end while being punctured by pondering piano stabs. There is bipolar nature to the production: warm and enveloping in the lows yet cold and wintry in the highs. It's a steady rhythm intent on intoxicating you.

The @audioglider remix reconstitutes the original into a thick, almost Amen breaks like direction. The synths are blown up to an optimal size and layered into a melodic sequence, keeping the original mystery. The breakdown is progressive house bliss, melancholy without being saccharine, before crashing back into the rhythm with added vocal by juSt b and soaring strings.

@jameswelsh's deep techno take is filled with percolating percussive hits and melodic arps weaving in and out of each other with total abandon. Featuring a considerably bigger kick, this is one to kickstart the main room.

The @mattrmusic remix starts off minimal with a deep meta physical engine, a hulking rhythm that slowly moves forward. Two separate breakdowns introduce a rising melody soaked in emotion, and the latter explodes into a 4/4 pattern that will sound divine on a dusty festival dancefloor.

If you're after the perfect opening track, look no further than the elegant remix from @ev3rsun. With its delightful opening 2 minute sequence, it is one part ambient and one part secret waiting to be told. It breaks into a gentle rhythm that sets the mood for what's to follow.

Hector Cortes – Bootcamp (Incl. Remixes by Indigo Man and Kris Dur) Hector Cortes joins the label with a fine track. From the start, we see a carefully incorporated bassline and kickdrum. As we move along, and acid journey seeps in like a caress that comes and goes. The synth combination creates a progressive ambience that permeates through any resistance. The environment is set. As the stabs and evolving bassline reunite another heaven is foreshadowed, and then reached at in the break. The immersion during the break of the track is unparallel. Hector's vibe is sure to captivate in a festival. One that is genuine and true to the deep dip's energy. The spell is finally broken at the drop with a synth play that is further joined by crisp percussions, to then finally make a return to the original motive. Beautiful and captivating. After one chart-breaking remix for deep dip that traveled the world, Indigo Man returns with another one! This time around he takes a step forward with a unique ambience and intricacy of sound. This remix slowly builds with carefully selected hats, a filtered bass-drum and ambience in order to finally join Bootcamp's original synth presence. Hector adorns this track with beautiful pads, atmospheric tones and synth revolutions never seen before yet familiar in the genre. This is particularly apparent during the break and into the final drop. A great exploration that is both a journey and a pleasurable experience to the senses. Starting with an enveloping percussion play, we sweep right into the core of the energy of this remix. Kris Dur lets a sky-sent world of sound rejoin the original sentiment with evermore ambient motives. As the dual tone synth joins the show, it gets the listener at the center of the stage, and as a short break comes in we reminiscence Bootcamp's heavenly strategy, but this time around with some voices lost in time. A remarkable expression of synthesizer rhythm and pad unity. Kris really makes you expand in space with this one.
