Steyoyoke Recordings have streamlined their next release, putting forth a single from Aki Bergen titled “I’ve Seen You Around” and it’s quality not quantity that prevails here. Gushing with raw conviction and lasting impressions, the impact of this track is effectually imminent.

Lingering between a passionate sermon and a heart felt lullaby, “I’ve Seen You Around” is adorned with the husky lyrics of vocalist Myriad. The intro is structured with orchestral eccentricities and a tranquil composure, which is a prelude for something more profound, as its underlying power kicks in shortly after. This is courtesy of its attacking bass line, fiery synths, and fluctuating intensity, that echoes the tracks true sincerity.

Following on from this single will be a remix EP, including a dub version of “I’ve Seen You Around” and in the coming months an entire album from Aki will be released.

The B-side of this humorously titled release is hands down one of my favourite tracks of all time, and definitely my favourite Levon Vincent creation. One of the few records that I can honestly say is well worth the high marketplace price, though I hope my copy gives me years of play! There's really no fitting description for this shifting chugger; it's a totally melodic and dubby slice of techno with a nice, subtle tinge of house-y-ness. It keeps going and going, with every element in its perfect place. Lots of reverb and warped sounds that build a series of layered loops from some ultimately quite simple components. For me that's the mark of perfection: a fugue-like cycle that plays on a perfect kick, bass drum, etc. And did I mention there are some VERY fat synth chords? Oh, and I just listened to it again and must add that there are some sweet pitched up lasers. I've always had a soft spot for the sound of lasers! Mmmmmm, Woman Is The Devil indeed.

Kittball favourite Paji returns to the German label once more this June for another well-crafted piece of house. Pajwan Faroch aka Paji, born 1986 in Cologne, discovered his passion for music in all its facets already in the age of 5. Since then he has learned playing different traditional instruments but alongside percussions the violin quickly became his favourite instrument. Already as a teenager he discovered his talent for combining different styles of music with each other. The fusion of different musical genres lead to the special Paji sound which is improvised, miscellaneous, individual, different.

It was in 2014 when a mutual friend introduced me to Victor Ruiz while he was staying here in Berlin. I invited Victor to my studio where we had a fantastic session, playing our music to each other, listening to stuff we like and simply talkin and connecting. Since then, we became close friends as well as starting to work together. Victor has released two outstanding EPs on Electric Ballroom by now. This summer we met again and recorded three tracks. Fabio Vanore-Landsberg a.k.a. Fabio Montana started turning his passion into a career only a few years ago. In little to no time, the Italian-born DJ made a name for himself and quickly became one of the better-known event organizers in the state of
North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW). It also didn’t take long for him to develop and fine-tune his skills as a talented producer. His most recent tracks, released on prestigious labels such as Incorrect Music, Love Matters and Indiana Tones, are a clear testament to the depth of his musical repertoire. With his productions featuring his close friend Teenage Mutants, he took the Beatport Charts by storm. Meanwhile, as a highly sought-after act, he often has the pleasure of performing alongside well-known DJs across Germany and all over the world. Currently, Fabio Montana is working on several new productions for various wellestablished labels, including a number of compelling remixes. Proactive and industrious, the young artist still has a few aces up his sleeve that will continue to turn heads without a doubt. Following his remix of Incroyable’s debut release “DAZED”, it soon became clear that he would be part of the Incroyable Family.

Sometimes you are creating a declaration of love - automatically. Beatamines composed many of those lines for extraordinary dancing people, for electronic music and the possibility to express himself with tracks like „How Never“ or 'Swaggin“. His tracks and remixes were released on MBF (Traumschallplatten), Bondage - Music, Kittball, Stil vor Talent and on his hombebase, David Kenoʼs imprint Keno Records. But Beatamines does not only work as a solo producer, he also releases tracks with his mate David Jach - each number got a place in the charts and Beatamines was elected to one of the best newcomers in the last two years.
Now the German nice guy is nearly booked up and he is on the way to being an honoured unique DJ, Liveact and Producer beyond Europe. Pascal Augner, thatʻs the real name of Beatamines, waggles busy with his declarations of love and writes new ones every day. He's packing the emotions of a summer love into it, underlined with fat baselines, pregnant claps and magic melodies.
