Goeran Meyer kicks off 2022 with a new EP on his ever-excellent MYR label. Meyer is in a fine run of form that last saw him release two stylish electronic tracks here back in October. They were the latest in a long line of fresh sounds from the German, who has put out more than 30 releases on labels like Tulipa Recordings, Wonnemusik and Fine Beatz but has in recent years focused on his own MYR label. The DJ, producer and live artist is someone who always crafts ever-changing landscapes of audio sculptures that make both physical and emotional impacts. The beautifully deft 'Critical' opens with elegant synths floating way up high above a warm and rolling groove. It is a star-gazing tune that traps you in a thoughtful reverie and keeps on rolling late into the night. 'Difficult' is masterfully melancholic, with sustained chords bringing the emotion as subtle melodies add rays of light. This most widescreen track is spacious yet carefully detailed with sound and offers a different kind of dance floor experience. Keep Asking is another forward-thinking release from this vital German artist.

We proudly present to you: 'Just Breathe'. A synth driven bombastic piece of melodic forward thinking house music.. or is it techno? It defies genre borders, that's for sure! Alice's dreamy lyrics and outstanding vocal performance take the song to the next level without a doubt.

Next to the original version an instrumental version is also included, as is a beatless version which is eerily haunting in all its stripped down beauty. 'Just Breathe' is one of those song that's unique in its own way, not following trends and aiming to be a timeless piece of art. Julian Stetter on the remix duties. The cologne based DJ and musician is known for his well thought through soundscapes and intelligent arrangements. Theatre compositions, studies at the institute for Music and Dance - this guy surely knows his business. After releasing his debut album „Sky Without Colours“ last year, he now reworked Jakob Mäders „Sun Will Rise“ into an afterhour track for the early morning hours.

About the artist:
Jakob Mäder is a Stuttgart based DJ and producer who also performs live. His musical interest spans across different genres: ambient, disco, house, acid, and sometimes even techno inspired music.
He plays regularly at Romantica, Dresden Bar and some other bars and clubs in Stuttgart. Together with his crew Midnight Service he organises events with artists such as Johannes Albert, Philipp Schultheis or Panthera Krause, just to name a few.

Ranging from reduced ambient to classic house inspired deep house or experimental breakbeat productions, his output as a producer reflects his eclectic taste as a DJ. Besides crafting his very own tracks, cheerful disco edits result from his artistic work every now and then.

He started his own label Constant Change in 2021.
