Beside the nice weather and beautiful places, Malaga is undoubtedly a prolific territory where
electronic music lovers can find an interesting mix between emerging and consolidated artists.
Among them, Oclum is becoming a recurrent name thanks to his powerful melodic-techno.
For his Manitox debut, the young DJ and producer delivers us a complete three track EP entitled
‘Anemona’. Title track opens with long pads and a metallic percussion that drives listener into a
deep journey. An enormous reverb on drum instruments sets an epic mood to ‘Anemona’ while the
detuned lead adds some dramatic feelings.
Next up, ‘Exo’ on the flip is a completely different option focused on electro sounds where a
delayed lead-synth and a broken rhythm are the main characters. An effective side-chained white
noise effect offers an intense momentum before the melancholic synth hits again.
Last but not least, ‘Dream Machine’ is an interest track where listener can find the innovative FM
percussion that set a groovy pattern. The nice use of the vocoder on vocals must be highlighted on
this cut, becoming this resource another of Oclum’s diverse production skills.
Oclum ‘Anemona’ drops on Manitox on 12th February 2021.

The EP "Senza Te" is the third EP by Mexican artist MID LØW. Compiling two tracks, "Momenti Di Amore" and "Forse Domani". "Momenti Di Amore" is a piece featuring violins and ethereal pads that immerse the listener in a melancholic and romantic atmosphere. Meanwhile "Forse Domani" likewise has a similar accent but is distinguished by a clearer progression.  Our next EP marks the comeback of FiveP, the moniker that hides the italian melodic-techno maestro Marco Cinquepalmi. After releasing a well-received ‘Synergy EP’ in our firm, which included a remix from Betoko, Bari based FiveP is back to drop ‘Lockdown EP’. 
 Composed of two tracks with deep melodies and electronic basis, 'Lockdown EP' drives listener until converging into melodic-techno territory. This genre is without any doubt the place where FiveP gives us his best, as he recently demonstrated by winning a Poker Flat contest remixing the iconic Hannes Bieger.

Regarding to ‘Lockdown EP’, the track that entitles the EP is an absolute winning horse since its very first beats. A raw kick plus an off-beat bassline are the main ingredients of the composition. With such a solid ground, the italian adds with great success great elements such as the detuned lead which evolves unpredictably offering us an emotive peak-time moment.    Next up, and following the same techno taste, ‘Independence Day’, starts things with sharp hi-hats and drone notes that helps bassline in order to build a nice low end. Chromatic up and down synth melodies appear suddenly causing great impact as listener can feel during the epic breakdown.
