Fiddla - London based DJ and Producer.
From a young age growing up listening to reggae, disco, Motown and Soul funk record from the family collection, the love for music was set in stone. Following in the footsteps of his DJ heroes Fast Eddie, Frankie Knuckles, Todd Terry and MAW (Masters At Work) laid the foundation of his career.
After a few getting gigs in local clubs and pirate radio In 1995, a decision to focus on the music production on the house and garage scene saw Fiddla sign contracts and collaborate with Nice & Ripe Records, Confetti Records and Middle Row Records as well as securing a major deal with Jetstar.
Amongst the euphoric beats and laser lights, of late Fiddla has passionately devoted himself to the Afro house movement for over 15 years and created a brand for himself and is highly regarded as one of the originators to push the sound in the UK.
Continuing to push his credentials and making a name for him self with his energetic sets and a true showmen behind the decks, which has seen this DJ/Producer gain residency at Deep Into Soul parties, with regular bookings at festivals such as SUNcéBeat, COLAF-Cetebration of Life & Friends, Moblack, Tribe Records, ADE-Amsterdam, Drums X Vibes, Soul Sessions, AMA Fest (UK)
Afro Tribe, Natives, Southport Weekender, SHE Experience Festival and many more.
In 2019 Fiddla's fan base continued to grow when he was offered a weekly residency radio show on the world famous Mi-soul Radio on their house platform, mi-house which was broadcasting ever Sunday till the disruption of the Covid era.
Ever-expanding, his brand "Moving Deep"is now an intricate umbrella of events, record label, music production and promotions. With a desire to move the Moving Deep brand forward, Fiddla has developed asuccessful array of regular events in London and Europe including: The Moving Deep Gathering, held in Amsterdam.
He has definitely earned his name as one of the UK's connoisseurs of the Afro House scene as a
DJ and Producer with many great releases and remixes on:
Sunclock, PolyRhythm, Cabeau Music, Open Bar Music, Liquid Deep Recordings, Digital Deep Music. Electric Friends Music, FOMP. Connected Frontline.
