Avril is a singer/songwriter and musician from Mullingar, currently living in Galway. She has been playing and writing music for many years. Her music falls loosely into the category of singer-songwriter, with a folk/alternative/rock sound. She writes and performs all her own music. She finished her first self-entitled E.P in 2014, recorded in Bay Studios in Co. Wicklow with Pete Meighan and mastered by Fergal Davis on Abbey Street.
