Wow, what a monster year it has been for Bristol's Ghetto Dub label, and head honcho Vinyl Junkie. Not content with delivering some of his best work ever on the Tiger Style & Joint Project EP's he has now, with the help of his partner in crime Rachael E.C, curated Ghetto Dub's most anticipated compilation to date. A mammoth 32 remixes of the coldest cuts in the imprints history to celebrate the 40th release on the label.

Launching just in time for Xmas this is a huge feast of flavours, cooked to absolute perfection with all the trimmings, cranberry sauce and extra gravy. An international dining experience with gourmet contributions from the UK, France, Spain, Germany, Russia, Serbia, USA and Canada.

As you would expect, plenty of regular Ghetto Dub chefs appear on remix duty, including Mad Vibes, Conrad Subs, DJ Gaw, Sikka and of course Vinyl Junkie himself, all of whom absolutely nail there takes on such classics as 'Long Dead', 'Body Move', 'Geto Dubata' and 'Kontact'.

But that is just the appetisers and its the special guests that really shine on the main courses. Aries serves up a thunderous remix of Java's 'Screwface', Phibes provides the vibes as he flips Vinyl Junkie & Sanxion's 'Wrecked' into an absolute wall slapper and Mark XTC & Exile turn up the heat on Conrad Sub's 'Rave', a punishing roll out that takes no prisoners in a quest to make the party 'Tun Up'.

For desert the Rahmanee remix of 'Ungrateful' is criminally moreish, Dawn Raids take on Bill & Ed's 'Jungle Tings' will get even the most stubborn dancefloor moving while Octo Pi's deep water take on Junkie's 'Big Bout Ya' is a certified slammer.

Still have room for more? Then don't sleep on mouth watering remixes from the likes of T-Kay, Epicentre, Monk, Lowridaz, Veak, Section, Diligent Fingaz, Ikon B, Java and many more. This the most desirable banquet of beats in 2020, jam packed with junglist nutrients and vitamins which will help you fight of any viruses (or politicians) that aim to make us unviable.

We Need Jungle - (FREE DOWNLOAD)

This track was made live on my Twitch stream as part of the first volume in a new series of Production live streams where I make tracks out of the Jungle Beat Battles sample packs.

Jungle Beat Battles is a group on Facebook where someone put a sample pack together, then loads of jungle producers made a track out of that pack, put in their entries, and people voted on their favourite tracks. The producer with the most votes then put together the next sample pack for everyone and it went on like that for a while.
It was really popular at one point but has fizzled out now, however, I wanted to start doing production live streams alongside my DJ set's on Twitch and have decide to make a load of track out of these packs and put them out as free downloads.

So, here is the first one from pack JBB42. It uses a sample from the classic Bob Marley - Exodus track and I made this in around 7 hours across 2 live streams.
