“It's so good to be back! And there's no better way to introduce my first show of 2022 than to finally host a mix by (literally) my favourite DJ and part time comedian - Joe Ellis! New Palm's seasonal mix series is back after a year hiatus with our very own Penumbra, aka Alex Bautista. Alex has been part of New Palm since our start in 2018 when he lugged speakers up the Angeles Crest for our first mountaintop gathering (the speakers never made it, but Alex did).

This mix is an approximation of his set bringing in the first evening of the year at our quaint but fiery New Year’s get together at the Plata Lounge, somewhere in Silver Lake.
