Dan Baber &amp; Fractal Achitect return to Gibbon with their EP, Save Us.
The title track drives from the start with a bubbling bassline which presents urgency that leads into a trumpeting delayed and serious analogue synth line that calls out to us.
Set against a backdrop of screaming sirens and delayed tripped out FX it's a track that sets a darkened tone.
Following this up is a remix from Gibbon stalwart, Carl Higson who unshackles his own distinct sound interlaced with the urgency of Save Us, smoothing out the more drastic tones of the original piece, Carl creates a vibe that entwines hope with the darker undertones.

Following up on the B-side is Reconstruct. Twisting from the start,wrapping around a distinct baseline and driving rhythm, the serpentine like synths move to pull apart your senses leaving you wondering just how to reconstruct yourself.
Main Leaf is on remix duties and brings a tension to the proceedings, taking things deeper and darker to deconstruct us further.

Tuschan Phillips  aka Duphi is German DJ and Producer , class 1985.
Mainly active as a cook,in his spare time, however, everything is about the most beautiful invention of the people: “music”.
He used to be an enthusiastic hip hop fan and love the old school rap of course. However, over the years,
he has taken into the electronic direction. It has always been a dream produce his own tracks and make people part of it.
Now finally he has this possibility and will continue to strive for it.
All his tracks are produced with full passion and we hope you like what you hear and supports him to continue as long as possible.

Hailing from Manchester, the musical influences of the city in the late 80’s and early 90’s had a big effect on Carl Higson’s musical taste. From Hip Hop to Indie and Ambient to Acid House, an eclectic mixture of genres has always had an influence on his musical direction.
Enjoying the party and nightlife scenes of Manchester and Leeds, Carl began DJ’ing in the early 2000’s. Striving to play long eclectic sets, he enjoyed several years of DJ’ing on the tropical beaches of South Goa, from chilled ambient sounds at sunset through to house and techno into the night bucking the trend of the notorious psy trance scene in the area. 
His productions are always on the deeper side of electronica from having early tracks released on Italian label Ban-Off music, to putting out his own albums and EP’s on Bandcamp and more recently having releases on Manual Music/MNL, Gibbon Records, Astir and Underground Kollektiv. 
House music has always been his biggest love with deeper and melodic sounds influencing his mixes and productions. 
Carl now enjoys living in the Lake District in Cumbria, where nature and the landscapes of the fells influence his melodic productions. He regularly plays vinyl sets across the county and is also the co-founder of Electric Boutique, a bi-monthly club night held in his home town of Kendal. The night nurtures local DJ talent whilst bringing the sounds of the underground to the area.
