Originally from Bristol England, Ben Jacobs aka Crackazat is a multi-Instrumentalist and electronic producer. Since his emergence on the international scene, he has quickly become recognised for his unique fusion of Jazz and House music.

Crackazats first experience with dance music was an early one. He grew up tap dancing to jazz with his mother, developing an innate sense of swing and rhythm.
It was later in to his teenage years, that he picked up guitar, bass and started producing, emulating any music of his interest, be it the underground hip hop of Madlib, or the Jazz-funk of Jamiroquai.

In 2012 he released the “Explanation” EP on Astrodynamics, showcasing his skill for downtempo beats and synthfunk, However it was his first exploration in to club music with the “Tunnel” EP on Futureboogie Records the same year, which brought him to the attention of DJs worldwide. His relocation to Sweden the same year kick-started an alliance with Swedish house label Local Talk. 
In 2015 he released his debut album ‘Crescendo’ to critical acclaim. Two singles from the album, ‘Eye Light’ and ‘Somewhere Else’ have established themselves as future classics.
2017 saw the release of his second album, ‘Rainbow Fantasia’, an Eloquent and intelligent jazz house masterpiece. 
2019 saw the release of his 3rd Album, a reworks album of Local Talks finest tracks.

Over the last couple of years Crackazat has had an explosion of global popularity, with Remixes for the likes of Joey Negro, Moulinex, and Tom Misch. Not to mention the japanese vinyl sensation ‘Coffee Time’. A euphoric house track built around a sample from a Acapella group in his city of Uppsala.

When it comes to Live Sets, crackazat sets the bar high, having started out with supporting sets for Bonobo and Floating points. His glorious keyboard solos, funky bass guitar, and general infectious grooviness are winning him crowds across the planet.

Keinemusik is a network with the label as the pulse pumping centre. Driven particularly by the spirit that moves the collective behind the imprint. Keinemusik has been around since 2009. It has been naming an existing friendship and linked interests of five members – four DJs and one graphic designer and painter. A more or less constant count of five releases per year have been released ever since, solely laid down by members of the crew. And a considerable count of label-parties went down, not only in Berlin, but around all international focal points for electronic music. And surely, there’s plenty more where those came from. With almost 30 years in the Electronic music industry, Vince Watson has released over 1000 songs including 250 EP’s, including 15 albums and 75 remixes, and his hard work has been rewarded with recordings for some of the very best electronic music labels like Cocoon, Planet E, Yoruba, Poker Flat, BBE and Transmat as well as running his own Everysoul label.  His skillsets have allowed him to work with some of the very best electronic artists including Laurent Garnier, Joe Claussell, Richie Hawtin, Sven Vath, Carl Craig, Osunlade, Steve Bug & Josh Wink and as a touring musician has been able to play at some of the worlds best clubs and events including Enter at Space, Ibiza, Berghain Berlin, Womb Tokyo and many events in The Netherlands. 
His radio show ‘Radio Drama’ has featured top guest from the electronic music world each month. Some examples include Ben Sims, Truncate, Manoo, Fred P, Steve Bug, Osunlade and many more.

Late 2020 Vince released an LP for The Outlaw Oceans music project entitled ‘Hope’, which was commissioned by the New York Times investigative journalist Ian Urbina and is now in production for Netflix as a documentary series.

Vince’s live shows are in demand around the world, performing in summer 2022 for Carl Cox’s birthday at DC10 Ibiza and as a former Tresor Berlin resident, his DJ sets are also now highly requested with appearances in clubs such as Berghain and Womb. Vince is currently resident of 909 Festival in Amsterdam. He debuted at Berlin’s HoR late 2022.

His sets can be heard in many headline podcasts series, where he has featured in podcasts from Carl Cox, John Digweed, Dave Clarke, Luciano, DJ Mag, Electronic Beats and Resident Advisor.

His 2021 His 18 track Detroit Techno LP ‘DnA’ was ‘[re]Sequenced’ by some of his favourite artists from the genre, including Carl Craig, John Beltran, Claude Young, Jon Dixon, Shawn Rudiman, Steve Rachmad, Stephen Lopkin and Stephen Brown.

Vince also debuted a new techno live project called Amorphic which launched with releases on Modularz, Symbolism and Token as well as a self-titled label, now 3 Ep’s deep.

As well as his ‘normal’ touring schedule and studio commitments, Vince’s experience and knowledge is also being put to use by Conservatorium van Amsterdam where Vince is working as a Senior Degree Lecturer for AEMA, the CvA’s new Electronic music school, where he teaches DJ classes, Production classes and Remix classes.
