This marked my 10th year out on the blank canvas of creativity, known as the Playa.  It was unforgiving and magnificent and challenging and beautiful all at once. I tell myself every year, this may be my last, that the experience has pushed me to my limits of comfort, and patience.  But literally the second I get back to the default World,  I miss it dearly, and cannot wait to return. The last Come Down mix I made for Burning Man was 5 years ago, and with the explosion of energy and mega high vibes this year, I felt the calling to create another chill-out journey into sound. Think of this mix as your long Exodus back into reality.  Listen closely to the inspiring words of Larry Harvey sprinkled through out the set. This legendary man and his brilliant vision, which he so profoundly describes in his own poetically genius way, is the reason we all make the annual pilgrimage to this desolate barren land of LOVE. Thanks to a beautiful twist in time, we welcomed Unders to close The Seekers of Light ADE '22 showcase on the Saturday Day Event. This closing slot was initially meant for Viken Arman, but as it happen our Viken missed his plane. The upside of hosting events during ADE is that you likely find a replacement that you love and adore.

IN COMES UNDERS! He was on his way out after successfully hosting his own showcase on Thursday, but lucky us we managed to snatch him before he left.

A magnificent set followed! The element of surprise in this last minute performance carried out throughout his performance and he managed to take us on the perfect journey.

Perhaps his best performance in our Babylon up to this date.. What do you think?

Unders - The Seekers of Light ADE Showcase 2022

If you are about to dive into this set, we invite you to read these words, as they will give deeper meaning to your experience with this musical landscape.

An Orchestra for the Spirit was played live in Black Rock City, riding the Maxa Deer. It was an offering of frequencies and words to bring unity to the Burning Man community that was about to witness the temple rise in flames.

As we believe in synchronicities over coincidences, we are sensitive and deeply touched by the powerful fires that burned for weeks in our beloved California. We contemplated what our best offering could be to support, and realized it is the perfect timing to share hours of music and inspiring poetry, to navigate the mysterious waves of trascendence and trust. 

From our hearts, this set is for everyone feeling the painful part of a shedding skin, a letter lost, a broken heart, or a physical or metaphorical home brought to ashes that now requires full trust to rise again and build a new landscape.

Here’s to new landscapes. 

We allow this orchestra for the spirit to tell the rest. 

A wave of gratitude to Noraj Cue and Burgs for your talent and wisdom imprinted into this set.

I always found it challenging to record a studio podcast: my analytical mind is trying to calculate every move, evaluate each transition & criticize the selection. I have time, music & equipment at my disposal, but one key element is missing to really tell a story: humans.

I encountered that problem last weekend. Although I was playing music I enjoy, I felt that my technically structured mix was too stiff and impersonal. 

____

Then, some of my favourite humans turned up at the studio. As Ashley, Apolline, Axel & Robin entered the room, the studio was suddenly filled with a great energy & I felt like pressing the rec button again, just for fun - this is when the first minutes of  S y m b i o s e  were captured.

I feel this studio mix is an authentic representation of the energy levels I like to navigate through during a longer set. It features some of my favourite tracks in a nod to the past but also has a touch of the future; new sounds that are moving me forward & some of my new compositions.

I’m happy to share this mix as I’m taking off for Argentina, what marks my first adventure of the decade. This music session brought me clarity, presence & joy! I hope you'll resonate with it.

Belgium’s Bigasti and Switzerland’s Floloco work in tandem to bring dreamy electronic music into the air with a narrative mix of both, deep and thriving elements. After years of experience in electronic music as individual artists, Gimérique unites the signature sound of two artists to a new chapter on their promising path in the electronic music scene.
It all started with a joint DJ set released on Schirmchendrink, which the two founded together. After several joint DJ sessions they felt it was about time to take the project to the next level.

With their first collaborative production in 2020, Gimérique took Lerr's 'Hummingbird' into deep and dreamy territory. Groovy and emotive in equal measure it made an auspicious production debut for Gimerique on Sound Avenue's first edition of their 'Re:Imagined‘ remix series. Gimérique's first original production 'Calm at Heart' was released in Spring 2020 on Harabe Recordings and explores a more ambient landscape of their sound. 'Calm at Heart" entered the Beatport 'Organic House' Top 100 charts within only few days.

Floloco and Bigasti individually are passionate about electronic music ever since they can remember.
