While the blossoming trees are changing our sceneries, we’re diving deeper into the hypnotic side of electronic music. For this occasion we have the pleasure to enjoy the sound of Rambadu, an artist who knows exactly how to translate the organic feeling of nature through music.

With a blend of various acoustic instruments, hardware devices and field recordings, Rambadu manages to create a sensual dance, that takes you further into the sonic realms. Almost two years ago he started his own label that celebrates the universal connection between beings and their surroundings. Since then he has been brewing on some exciting projects that will unveil themselves in the coming months.

A few weeks ago we had the pleasure to invite Rambadu for our stream at Operator. The recording of his mix is now part of our SALON series to make sure you can relive it whenever you want.

Our next guest has become a staple of the Belgian electronic music scene through his passion for sound, science, synthesizers and events. His wide ranged influences span the sounds of classical, jazz, acoustical music and techno. He expertly collects these different schools of sound in his productions delivering soul shaking music. He has recently been featured on @hypnus-memoirs and released massive contributions for @liminalspacesmusic, @thegodsplanet , @aardenrecords and many more. For this 16th instance, we continue with an outstanding trip by arooo, where he brings mystical athmospheres merging into one other, embodying the true meaning of a reverie. Implementing multi-dimensional and texturized sounddesign in a subtle manner, his deep selection and entrancing rythms provide an introspective state of mind.

On Thursday the 21st of November 2024, come celebrate the pulsating heritage of Rotterdam’s Reclaim Your City at Saüle. Part of a new event series focussed on styles skirting what is widely embraced as ’techno music’, this first airdrop of the RYC squad promises to be a satisfying moment for all lovers of bold, boundary-pushing electronics. Clad in the austere industrial atmosphere of Berghain’s experimental-oriented subdivision, Saüle, the event gathers voices from distinct geographies and segments of the electronic music scene. From British master and seminal ‘Lost’ nights founder Steve Bicknell, who will blow the winds of dubstep across Saüle’s monster sound system, to Detroit-based deck whiz Erika who will get the heart of the Motown throbbing at the pace of its legendary electro scene, to London jockey and producer Cressida, representing the more alternative confines of the techno-adjacent sonics, from proper UK sound - understand jungle and grime, to techno itself, beware the torrential cascade of roaring machines and sine waves-spoken thunder firing on all cylinders.

There’s beauty in the art of teasing. To build the groove of a night slowly and piece by piece is a commonplace ideal, but not many are willing to sacrifice the early moments of gratification for a potentially more rewarding experience. Enter @garcon : The Basel-based music afficcionado has steadily built his reputation as an expert in mood modulation. Combining hypnotic grooves from all corners of electronic music, he’s crafted a style firmly rooted in techno, with a singular affinity for the rhythmically dexterous landscapes that stretch beyond. An original resident of (now defunct) Basel institution Hinterhof, Garçon – in cooperation with ally Agonis – continues developing the Amenthia imprint’s unique sonic identity at Elysia, taking full advantage of the utilitarian space.

The 20th vurt podcast comes with a 62 minute set of Mod21, an electronic music/deep techno/experimental sound artist from Italy.
Mod21, which appeared in 2014 with the announcement of Ben's Wolves EP at the legendary deep label Prologue in Munich, Germany, has continued to work on representative labels of modern deep techno such as Semantica, Mental Modern, Edit Select Records, and his own imprint Mod21 which began in 2017. 
Mod21's music, created through analog-style sound design and unique rhythmic structure that experiments with various possibilities of techno, unfolds in a dark, slippery that seem to be born in the bowels of a parallel world to ours.
