The first and only short story I have ever produced from beginning to end. It features a supernatural, demonic being by the name of Lila and her grudge against a mortal named Talao. I apologize in advance for being a little fast and messing up in parts, but I hope it's enjoyable nonetheless.

I wrote it in January of 2013; the second semester of my senior year. It is an outward expression of anger/frustration from past relationships and it was a therapeutic way for me to deal with my emotions.

It's not the best, and I haven't revised it since the original revision, but for biased, personal reasons I love this short story, and I love the empowerment the words made me feel. I've got a little darkness inside that I (usually) only express through writing. I hope you enjoy it.

I snapped the cover picture in the Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church in August of 2013 (post-graduation) on an incredible, unforgettable trip to Berlin, the first trip I took with a significant other. I learned a lot about myself on that trip, and made a vow to myself to make traveling my #1 priority.

A Coward's Fate

My original song, "Sonder", was inspired by Kelsey Timmerman's book, "Where Am I Wearing?" This book deals with the issue of globalization in the clothing industry. Mr. Timmerman meets several of the workers who made his clothes in countries such as China, Bangladesh, and Honduras, and shares their stories. I was profoundly touched by the stories of these people, and tried to express the feeling I got through this song.
