For SVBKVLT’s 9th official release we are excited to present ‘Solstice’, the second solo release from Tokyo’s Prettybwoy. 

A regular at the legendary Drum’n’Bass Sessions and Goth Trad’s ‘Back To Chill’, Prettybwoy has been on the Tokyo circuit since 1999, but its only recently his productions have spread outside of Japan. His track ‘Kissin’ U’ was included on Big Dada’s ‘Grime 2.0’ compilation, and his first solo release came out on France’s ‘Polaar’ in May 2016. 

The ‘Solstice EP’ is a collection of 5 tracks made over the course of the last year. A Tokyo twist on the current sound of Grime, mixed with mind warping club trax and a sprinkling of J-Pop cuteness.

Seven orbits is an audiovisual performance designed for immersive sensory experiences.

It plays with the senses through vibration, light and sound to induce potential altered states with an emphasis on the transcendental and animistic connection with the natural world and the divine as can be found in past and present rituals around the world.

The softwares used to create the experience communicate with each other so that the sound, played live on DAW, drive the real-time graphics as well as physical live elements; Further control of the experience is also achieved by using external physical interfaces;
