The name of many talents - Ludwig Wandinger - has been echoing in the experimental scene for quite some time. This comes as no surprise, as the already renowned Berlin based polymath channels his full-time effort partly into playing live drums, producing his and other people’s music and creating multidisciplinary visual art. Following multifaceted solo projects on labels Average Negative/Alpha Pup Records and Orange Milk Records, Gin&Platonic are delighted to present Ludwig's exceptional sophomore full-length album 'Spiritual Decay'.

Social medias are full of videos in which animals interact with humans. 
They give us a sense of temporary well-being, of comfort, or even satisfaction, a dose of serotonin. 
But all of that awakens in me a deep and very special feeling of anxiety, as I'm suddenly aware of the mass alienation of the internet-scrollers, who voluntarily and happily comply to this. 
More than that, in the background of these videos, there is always and always the same music tunes.
People rarely try to listen to new original stuff, beyond what's directly available. 
Surely, however, the popular music tunes that they use help them getting more views when combined with images full of cuteness and love.

This opus is a criticism of the backward yet abundant consumption of viral videos, of how they're part of a form of deculturation, while in the same time providing temporarily wellness and comfort to our brains.
