Moonlight Sonata, byname of Piano Sonata No. 14 in C-sharp Minor, Op. 27, No. 2: Sonata quasi una fantasia,  solo piano work by Ludwig van Beethoven, admired particularly for its mysterious, gently arpeggiated, and seemingly improvised first movement. The piece was completed in 1801, published the following year, and premiered by the composer himself, whose hearing was still adequate but already deteriorating at the time. The nickname Moonlight Sonata traces to the 1830s, when German Romantic poet Ludwig Rellstab published a review in which he likened the first movement of the piece to a boat floating in the moonlight on Switzerland’s Lake Lucerne. Beethoven dedicated the work to Countess Giulietta Guicciardi, a 16-year-old aristocrat who was his student for a short time.

어두운 땅에는 수분이 스몄다. 물의 분자는 저 자신이 어디로 가는지도 모르게 그렇게 이곳저곳에 촉촉하게 스며들어갔다. 
봄이 왔다. 기다려도 오지 않던 그런 봄은 어느새 내게로 왔다. 푸르름을 그리도 짙게 들여놓고서는 또 삽시간에 사라지려나 보다.

멈추지 않을 물이여. 
잡히지 않을 봄이여.

내게로 와서 떠나가시오. 내가 안길 곳은 그대입니다.

늘 그 자리에 있는 하늘은 매번 다른 모습으로 그림을 그렸다. 고요하게 세상을 흔들어 놓았다.

경기상상캠퍼스의 새 공간, M3의 개관을 위한 공연 <봄 그리고 하늘, MMM>은 공간의 구조와 관람객의 위치에 따라서 음악을 여러가지 형태로 들을 수 있는 ‘관객이동형’ 공연이다. 지상1층부터 옥상층으로 이어진 #0부터 #7까지의 8가지 각 공간에는 G1부터 G9에 해당하는 가야금 연주자들이 있으며 각 곳에 들어서는 순간 그 곳만의 음악이 시작된다. 공연을 감상하기 위해서는 장소가 지닌 본래의 성질에 의하여 만들어진 최소한의 규칙을 따라야 한다. 하지만 이것은 관객의 자율의지에 따른다.

M3의 옛 모습과 앞으로의 역할을 상상하며 
그래서 여러 가지의 기회들이 공존할 수 있는 열린 공간이 되길 기대하며 본 작품을 만들었다.

// 관람 방법

본 공연은 지상1층부터 옥상층까지 #0부터 #7로 나뉘어진 총 8가지의 공간을 이동하며 즐기시는 관객이동형 공연입니다. 
음악과 함께 여러분들께서도 직접 이동을 하셔야 하는 만큼 관람 방법을 안내드립니다.

1. 종소리가 들리면 다음 공간으로 이동을 합니다. 
2. 날아가는 비행기 소리가 들리면 모든 것을 멈춥니다. 연주, 이야기, 이동 등 모든 것들을 멈춥니다. 
3. #7에서 모든 음악이 끝난 후 부터는 더욱더 자유롭게 모든 공간을 이동 하시면 됩니다.

공연과 더불어 @mxmxm_m3 에도 본 공연을 위한 음악이 연주되고 있으니 원하시는 분들께서는 앞의 주소로 접속하셔서 오프라인과 온라인의 음악을 함께 즐기실 수 있습니다.

The third EP on Deeptrax Jax is by Mr. Crux, a producer from a small town in the South of Wales. He’s been making music as Mr Crux for about 6-7 years, mainly inspired by artists like Tycho, Four Tet, Bonobo, Jamie XX as well as a lot of traditional folk music and hip hop.

“This EP was made when I got my hands on a large collection of old house, techno and garage records from the 90's and early 2000's. I sampled a lot of short vocal sounds, percussion, atmospheres and layered them with some live synth sounds. I tried to make something that sounded melodic and emotional but still had a bouncy rhythm at it's heart.”

Warm nostalgic house beats grabbing back to the past with beautiful samples and banging drums. Beautiful tracks for summer festivals or late night drives.

What can be heard throughout the whole mini-album is the excellent sound that is not afraid of dirt, noise and “sound waste” that the title refers to.

FOQL is a polish experimental dance music producer and founder of Oramics collective that focuses on empowerment of women, non-binary and queer people on electronic music scene and also on promoting communities and artists from East and Central Europe.

She is releasing her new album „Dumpster Diving Know-How“ on 15th of March through Atlanta based label CGI Records. The label specializes in every imaginable mutation of house, techno and experimental music and you can find releases from names like Prostitutes, Osheyack or Russell E. L. Butler in their catalogue. We can definitely recommend adding their name to a list of interesting labels and if you do not have such a list yet, we recommend to start it now. Life is much more comfortable with lists like that.

We are premiering a magical track „Take A Deep Breath & Dive Into The Bin“ from the album that is not afraid to wrap sound in dirt and beauty in decay. The track almost sounds as if Coil recorded a captivating soundtrack to losing consciousness. And we love it.
