Djembé - the first single of the electro-acoustic live act NORLYZ. Crisp horn rhythms superimposed over a pulsating web of polyrhythmic drum and synthesizer patterns. After the opening of alert suspense the scene starts to rotate: a lift-off towards distant shores.

The electro-acoustic live band unites the warmth and fragility of acoustic instruments with the precision and power of the electronics: captivating grooves rich in fine sonic details, inspired by techno, world music and jazz. Guiding the audience NORLYZ embarks on a journey through parallel worlds, mystical lands and cinematic soundscapes. While following an intricate dramaturgy, the project leaves space for creative improvisation between the 4 musicians aiming to elevate each other and the overall experience.

Balade avec Cerbère @ OPAL Festival 2022

Last weekend I was invited to play at We Fly Wild, a crew of electronic music lovers that organize pop-up events and a festival on the west coast of Sweden. I am glad that I finally managed to record my set and put it out here for the rest of the world to listen. It has been a while to say the least. Most of my focus has been on local events in the last two years. I miss you crazy people that I met on different events around the globe. Here is a sign of life from the tiny Swedish island. Enjoy the ride!!

#PlasticFreeParty is a collection of conscientious, green-hearted tunes from some of our  favourite artists, all brought together to highlight the incredible work being done by our  friends at Bye Bye Plastic, the disruptive nonprofit working to eliminate single-use plastics  in the music industry and restore Earth balance. The album will be officially launched at this  year’s Amsterdam Dance Event with a party organised in collaboration with Levantine  House in the luxurious W Amsterdam on release day, Thursday 20th October. A world- first, ground-breaking non-vinyl physical version of the album is also in the works. 
Curated by Parisian DJ duo Chambord and released on BLOND:ISH’s ABRACADABRA  label, #PlasticFreeParty brings together 14 new tracks from artists like BLOND:ISH, Shiba  San, Vander & Deer Jade, Urmet K, Zigan Aldi and Chambord themselves. 100% of the album’s profits will be forwarded to the Bye Bye Plastic Foundation, enabling them to increase their visibility and message. 
Chambord explained how the compilation came to fruition; “In 2020, we worked with Bye Bye Plastic for our first live performance in France. During this time, we gathered a group of friends and associates to create fundraising for this cause and have been working together ever since. We met with Camille from the BBP foundation, and together with Blond:ish we decided to create a music compilation to raise funds. Together we can hopefully achieve our goals and make a difference.”

She was dressed to play golf and I remember thinking she looked like a good illustration, her chin raised a little, jauntily, her hair the color of an autumn leaf, her face the same brown tint as the fingerless glove on her knee. When I had finished she told me without comment that she was engaged to another man. I doubted that though there were several she could have married at a nod of her head but I pretended to be surprised. For just a minute I wondered if I wasn’t making a mistake, then I thought it all over again quickly and got up to say goodbye. Filmus takes a deep breath and dive into the waters of freedom. This is his first offering for Shango Records. These two tracks can help you take the road to sirens kingdom. Jon Sweetname, Richard Elcox & Matija and Sevn (CA) are the sailors in the sea of broken dreams and red roses.
