KUSS belongs to the new and audacious Parisian techno scene. His musical productions are inspired by a wide range of genres, from groove and mental to ambient and psychedelic music. Whether in his lives or DJ sets, he keeps offering novelty and dares experimentation and sound creation while evolving according to the life experiences he goes through and which inspire him.

In 2022, he started a new side project, Ecstatic Transmission, which is a podcast series mixing all his inspirations and influences from downtempo to trip hop, to lead his audience deeper into his musical universe.

KUSS collaborated with Zadig, Electric Rescue, Mac Declos, Sina XX and released tracks on labels such as Skryptöm, Warok, Maison Close, Body To Body, Canticle and KR Records. He played in many Parisian clubs such as Rex Club, Dehors Brut, Nexus Club and La Machine du Moulin Rouge but also in Montpellier, Rennes, Toulouse, Berlin and Geneva

@radicalsoftness, a name which, at first sight, seems controversial and yet has a very much deeper meaning. Being a somewhat radical person when it comes to vouching for values such as the right of self expression, establishment of safer spaces and FLINTA visibility in the scene. On the other hand being a radical person stands and falls with the softest part of any human – the inner self. 

On the musical side of the coin, Radical Softness immediately evokes a sense of warmth and force at the same time, which again represents the artistic direction of the name itself. 
Powerful rhythmic patterns go hand in hand with mellow synths – together on a mission to invite dancers to reach the subconscious in an almost therapeutic way. 
Radical Softness introduces repetition to you as the means to escape daily sorrows, to feel again and gain a few hours of freedom from a seemingly fast-paced and cold outside world.

Radical Softness’ desire to be a DJ already subconsciously began in 2013 when they started working at a local bar, where they quickly became the one in charge of the music playlists. This marks the beginning of following a path down the rabbit hole into a new universe and into digging through artists entire discographies. 
Their move to Berlin in 2015 further shaped their vision of music. By that time Radical Softness was already asking people in their circle to show them how to DJ, but never felt welcome enough to actually dive head first into the blue. 

In 2019 the switch luckily flicked, they stepped behind the decks, quickly gained recognition, especially through them well-received sets on HÖR Berlin and combined their deep music collection with the ability to quickly grasp how DJing works from the core. And yet, what we hear right now is just the beginning of what Radical Softness has to offer.

We invited artists from the harder fringes of electronic music to the sun-kissed isle of Malta for another lively edition of Glitch Festival.

"Earlier this year I was playing at a friend's birthday party in Croatia (hi Allan). He is a connoisseur of electronic music so the people he invited to play were pretty diverse, music style-wise. It's really rare for me to be blown away by someone's set but after me a guy called Odd from Kuala Lumpur started playing and he blew me away to pieces. Not only did he play some of the best techno I heard all year (I didn't recognize a single track) but he did it in a way that I realized I was sorely missing: stable, hypnotic, groovy (actually groovy, not just a big kick and then some afterthoughts behind it), always advancing but also always persuasive in its message.
I hope I channeled a bit of what he did in this set. It's very hard for someone who grew up listening to too much IDM/Braindance to be as patient and consistent as is needed for this type of sets, but I think I managed to meet this very fond memory of a summer morning and my wanderlust for the entire spectrum of emotions and energies somewhere halfway.

Identitetas. Klubui, kaip bendraminčius jungiančiam socialiniam reiškiniui, tai labai svarbu, nes be tapatybės nėra į ką remtis. Niekas geriau neformuoja klubo įvaizdžio, nei jo paties garsas, todėl tęsiame miksų serija, kurios tikslas – neleisti užmiršti mūsų skambesio.

IP:VIII – nėra senas vardas DJ scenoje, bet jau neatsiejamas ir nuo „Haxan“, ir nuo sostinės „Elastica“ vakarėlių plakatų. Ne veltui uždarymų karaliumi bei daugiausiai muzikos perkančiu tituluojamas: garsėjanti Vilniaus techno pažiba ir valanda jo atradimų mums.

This hard melodic techno DJ from Panevėžys has been listening to and playing techno since 2014. While studying software engineering in Denmark, he continued to hone his skills as a DJ, eventually returning to Lithuania to work in Vilnius and continuing to DJ as a hobby. After releasing his first techno track in 2021, he has since released several live jams as tracks that are now available on most platforms. Through his music, he aims to take his listeners on a journey and transport them to another world, blending hard-hitting techno beats with melodic elements to create a unique and immersive listening experience. Despite being relatively unknown, he remains dedicated to his craft and is excited to see where his journey will take him.
