Born and raised in Carrollton, GA, Chad North, known as Wavy Lachii, started his DJ journey at the young age of 12. His career took a significant leap in 2016 when he became the official DJ for "Laundry Day," a unique artist showcase series held at a laundromat by the Atlanta-based music production company, Dopenorteria. This role quickly propelled Lachii into the spotlight, catching the eye of various event producers in Atlanta. Lachii's dynamic style and ability to move people's emotions through music have landed him gigs at notable WERC Crew events like "Smothered + Covered," the A3C Festival, clubs such as Mother on Edgewood Ave, and the "Controllerise" event series. His sets are a seamless blend of genres, aiming to introduce audiences to sounds they may not regularly encounter.
