Hi all, 

I will be doing a small number of All Night Long sets , starting on the 21st of September in London. 

The focus will be MUSIC. All kinds, and a lot of it. 

To give you a taste of what it will sound like, I'm preparing a series of mixes. 
Here's the first one, the Funk & Boogie edition. More likely to be what you'll hear if you walk into the room early, which I really think you should do.

Aeroplane - All Night Long - Funk & Boogie Edition

"Superpicture Mix is the sound of a hip-hop car and disco bus colliding on the moon. I often make up artwork in my head and then make a soundtrack to it, like an imaginary reference even though sometimes I feel like that’s cheating. I’m hugely influenced by 80s disco, that twinkly synthy kind that my parents think is rubbish. I accidentally seem to keep a theme of these blips and bleeps throughout the music that I create. I think mixes should always be a journey, even if it leads you off somewhere you didn’t originally intend. I set out to make this mix for me to dance to but then listening back there are big spaces and sounds that make that difficult. I think the journey aspect of a mix is more important than just throwing some of your favourite tunes together. I also like to mix harmonically, editing and layering elements of two or three tracks to create new music. Like a kids puzzle except you can edit the pieces"

A bit more about this weeks guest:
It was 16 years ago after finding a mixer in a flea market that the Oldchap adventure begins. He Juggled between trip hop and underground techno music and then, more than a thousand vinyls and cells later, it is now his tracks that are available to buy in the wax.
Already available a vinyl only track on Smokecloud records alongside Osmose and Funk District, and in the coming weeks a track on the next Masterworks compilation with the boss Dr Packer Hotmood and the Funk District again. On the Digital side there are two upcoming EP's; one on Sundries and the other at Masterworks.
In a spirit more house, two tracks will also be coming in collaboration with NicolA one on Sundries and one for QCK records.

Oldchap will always deliver these eclectic and energetic sets that have delighted the dancers and these could be heard this summer at Les Badauds bar in Versailles or at private parties.

A constant synergy exists between Jayda G and the dancefloors she commands. PREMIERE: Art Of Tones - Have Fun For A Little [Local Talk]

Spanish DJ and producer Fran Deeper from Mallorca and his fabulous eclectic set he dropped at Gitano Tulum.

Having debuted on Midnight Riot back in the summer of 2018, Doctor Soul returns for a second consultation on Yam Who's prolific imprint. Identifying a desire to dance all night, he first prescribes "Disco Royale", a breezy, mid-tempo affair where super-sweet female backing vocals and punchy orchestrated instrumentation rise above a squeezable, bass-heavy disco groove. In case that's not enough to put us back on the right track, the good doctor also offers up some peak-time ready, piano-rich AOR disco ("Down Here, In The Sea of Love") and a surprisingly feverish chunk of 110 BPM Latin disco chug (the eyes-closed guitar solos, layered percussion and sharp, horn-heavy vibes of "Maria Fumacala"). Take all three before bedtime and you'll be right as rain in the morning.
