The record is a testament to the healthy place the Asian electronic music landscape finds itself and those intrepid producers willing to explore new scenes and sounds.

Hailing from Seoul but now firmly based in Amsterdam, Naone delivers a superb EP on Warning, mixing her emotional background with her more contemporary roots, the perfect bridge between both worlds, Asia and Europe, or perhaps between her inner self and the outside world. Starting with Perfectly Harmless, the mysterious track develops into deep feelings that really unfold and expand in Hondon-Ui Kaosu (Chaos of Chaos), where the electro breakbeat responds to a melody with hints of pop consciousness.

On the flip side, the Korean artist unleashes her passion with the deep psy-trance infused enigmatic techno groover Haengjin (Marching), followed by a sensitive downtempo acid closer aptly titled What's Happening. Ultimately, this is about the process of making music, channeling emotions and perceptive energies to create a balanced representation of past emotions and memories.

Markus Suckut’s twist on German producer Sawlin's Keine Kunst  is a high-energy techno track designed for peak time on the dance floor. The pulsating beats and rhythmic patterns create an infectious groove that is sure to captivate listeners. Characterized by its driving bass-line, crisp hi-hats, the core of the Suckut remix is the undulating percussion and carefully sampled melodies from the original mix. Also sprinkled throughout are vocal snippets adding an extra layer of dynamism and emotion to the track. The sampled vocals are not just a mere accompaniment; they serve as a rhythmic and melodic instrument, contributing to the overall sonic tapestry.

Markus Suckut’s remix and the rest of the Keine Kunst release will be out on Freund Der Familie, the 27th of November.

Arkajo is back on his own label with two originals and two remixes by kindred spirits, Polygonia and Konduku. Starting with the warm Entwine, stepped-out beats laced with swirly stabs. Polygonia’s finishes off the A-side with an organic and atmospheric rework; saturated in deep, trippy, rattling tonally percussive flows. Arkajo’s Signature leads the B-side: broken drum patterns with whispers from the realm between where Sweden and the UK meet. Konduku settles the score with his dark and eerie 4×4 techno take. Hazed and Confucius is a group of House, Lo-Fi House/Techno lovers based in Seoul, South Korea. Their goal is to spread and share their love of music through various parties, broadcasts and compilation albums with their guests and friends.
In their second compilation VA002, HZDCFC invites their friends to share their stories. Di Barsotti (Novaj 新し, France) reveal their love of Asia, DJ Spielberg and DJ Legwarmer (No, She doesn’t, Portugal) dig through Korean records, while KAZUHO and Romy Mats (N.O.S, Japan) criticize Japan’s strict regulation of night clubs. HZDCFC VA002 also contains tracks from local Korean talent DJ Bowlcut, Jae Young, Anchore and Monika who all contribute warm and hazy house tracks.
