The Time Is Nine - Cinesamples' Tina Guo Scoring Competition 2021

A piano, a violin then brass and synth, cast a look on the world, the rotten one, but there is no more time, the rhythm increases and leads to the main theme, combative and optimistic. All together, fighting to change the future.
Then a rock drum enters, the discomfort increases, but also the optimism, that humanity will be ready to act, explodes. Let's join hands to build! Not to destroy!

Human Brotherhood

A child falls then makes a tantrum, but immediately gets up and starts playing again. A man falls, then sinks into his despair, but with determination and will, he gets up and resumes his journey.

An acoustic guitar played by beating on its pickguard, a piano hovers in the air and then a sweet melody of violin and flute introduces this instrumental piece. You get to the main theme, piano, violin and strings. Again and a bridge with electric guitar solo brings us back to the main theme where I meet my city between mountains and lake.

All the instruments of this piece are mixed in strong, sweet and maliconic moments, to bring to the heart the love and passion that can only be experienced intensely in a magical city like Venice.

An electronic instrumental piece with a disturbing beginning (synthesizers, industrial drums and orchestral percussion) which then gives way to a ray of light with orchestral instruments and a female choir. The shadow returns, but then the light explodes with the fullness of the orchestra and the female choir

I played it instinctively and making sure that the story of my life and of a thousand other lives could celebrate itself between nostalgia and hope. The orchestra emphasizes the passages to which everyone can link his memories and his projects.
