A deluge of heavy-hitting support from some of the most legendary titans in dance music marks the return of award-winning Canadian producer Glenn Morrison to the dance floor.

After a considerable hiatus away from the EDM limelight working as a songwriter and producer for Sony Records and Universal Music Group – in the process bagging Billboard #1 singles and multiple radio awards / certified multi-platinum sales – Morrison is back with brand new long-player ‘Into The Deep’, introduced earlier this week via two double A-side EPs.

A pure passion project for Morrison, ‘Into The Deep’ is an exquisitely produced piece of work, a true journey of stereosonic discovery. Boasting a sound reminiscent of the critically-acclaimed ‘Northern Exposure’ compilations, Morrison brings an intelligent, thoughtful vibe back to dance music that many feel has been lacking in recent years. From dark, driving, progressive cuts to dreamy, trance-like singles; from throbbing, grinding, tribal tones through to hypnotic, undulating, bass-heavy pieces, this is a world class producer indulging himself and us in sound – doing what he loves and doing it very, very well.

Standout tracks on the album that premiered earlier this week include ‘Hang Tough’ – where Morrison uses John Harris’ poem ‘The Gospel According to John’ to tell the sordid tale of a drugged out prostitute turning over a normal man to the same hollow lifestyle – and ‘Another Dimension’, a dark and intense build up of sounds swelling through cascading melodies into an eruption of syncopated synth and grand piano riffs that take the track’s sentiment in a completely unexpected direction. Titular track ‘Into The Deep’ lingers delicately on the palate, Morrison taking his time to draw the listener in and out of his creation almost as if we need his sounds to breathe. A little stronger and a little darker, ‘Bumblebee’s driving elements of techno and chugging minimal house underpin deceptively simplistic top layers making it perfect for those mid-set progressions in the early morning hours or, as Morrison suggests, “Space Ibiza terrace early night kind of vibe.”

“I needed to get back to writing these instrumental pieces where the riffs are the vocal lines, and the vibe is a sort of hypnotic mysticism mixed with late night mind bending chasers,’ Morrison continues. ‘‘Into the Deep’ is a celebration of forward thinking progressive house music; a dash of eccentric and brash synth melodies juxtaposed with bright, uppity grand piano chords and warped out arpeggiations that I hope will light up both dance floors and late night music sessions the world over.”

In the daylight we shine, but come nightfall, we fall from grace. We enter into the netherworlds of electronic composition and forward thinking art pieces.  Fall From Grace is a musical collective of passionate writers, session musicians, avant garde abstract thinkers/poets, and hardcore producers who break new ground in the spirit of creating cutting edge electronic music.

When you look at the label owners musical background, you can understand the more thoughtful expression of what Fall From Grace represents to him. A classically trained pianist in his early years, Glenn Morrison became entrenched in electronic music since the late 90’s onwards. Fall From Grace is romantic in nature, with the vision to be releasing constantly thoughtful, intelligent, soulful electronic music compositions from passionate musicians who have a story to tell.

 It’s been some time since Darth Raver first used THE FORCE to awaken the music scene. In that time... he has become known from GALAXIES FAR FAR AWAY to the far reaches of THE EXPANDED UNIVERSE. He is  known as a MOST IMPRESSIVE act to follow. From mixing genres you wouldn’t think worked together; This SITH LORD orchestrates new melodies with THE POWER OF THE DARKSIDE embraced within his beats.  This DARK JEDI, Darth Raver has come a long way since his very first mix.

THE RISE OF Darth Raver started in the mid 2000's ABY, but soon after his aspirations  changed focus.  DARTH RAVER now wanted to RULE  THE GALAXY from behind the scenes and command his RAVE TROOPERS to assemble the most epic parties THE GALACTIC EMPIRE would remember for years to come. He has been successful, creating annual parties such as Santa Strikes Back, Beats by the Pound, and The Groove Music Festival, The Darkside, HARD AS F@#K,  and IT to name a few.


  Regrettably, THE DARKSIDE consumed his abilities to command and RULE THE GALACTIC EMPIRE. The same community he once sacrificed his beliefs for , indignantly he departed from his former society to seek a different way to find balance within the force.  Amongst internal conflicts within himself , DARTH RAVER abruptly retreated to the outer rim. Legends and whispers of his name amongst the halls of THE GALACTIC EMPIRE were all that was left of the lore for many years...


 After many years , this SITH LORDS interest REVIVED his FORCE POWERS within. Upon help and inspiration from his many talented allies such as Crystal Fresh, Ninjette, Roofio, Drazius, Flatlandfunk, Tyco, Griffyn, Tianna J, DJ Sheaves to name a few.


 Combined with his previous exposure to DJing; DARTH RAVER quickly picked up the art of mixing, spinning with a level of passion and energy that make's him get noticed on stage.  This master of THE FORCE has since packed dance floors with dirty basslines and euphoric melodies with a certain Star Wars influence, hence his name

ChantElle Bio

Even stars need darkness to shine, and that is where it all started for me. Singing was a natural almost involuntary action that struck constantly throughout my life, it was lucky for me that I had so much contrast to promote such powerful honest lyrics to accompany the melodies in my head. 
There were no buses in the small town I grew up in, from where we lived in Blind River, ON was about an hour walk into town, and at least a 20min bike ride. Alone in my head, while my body went through the motions of carrying me home, I wrote and wrote till I had genius poems that could only have been written by an Aquarius Pisces Cusp with a Life Path of 22! Having no recording devices it took a lot of memorizing till I got home, but high school was where I wrote the most. By then I was living in the big city of Windsor ON. where I was powerfully influenced by the local music. 
Moving into my 30’s, I still hadn’t  healed enough to fully believe in myself, or the power of my name, SING GIRL! ChantElle! I have no doubt singing comes natural to me and writing is simply a part of who I am… but I couldn't play any instrument (excuse), I didn’t have any songs just a mass of poems (excuse), what if people don’t like me or my music (excuse)… truth is the only thing holding me back was fear! Till one night, Stephanie Copeland said, “What are these? Omg we should turn these into songs!” and we did just that. You can hear Stephanie’s influence the most on Everything But Me. 
So that got me feeling confident enough to find a producer I could afford, who was also amazing. I chose Pete Palazzolo because he is immensely talented, super positive, beautiful to watch and be around cause he shines so bright when he is basking in musical creativity. Pete was able to offer hour sessions when I could afford them, so 6 years later, I had about half an album.
Sooke, B.C. is where the rainforest meets the sea and exactly where I needed to be! A good friend and inspirational talent, Luc Michaud of Highland Studios, agreed to fly out for a visit, to record the album in a few days, produce and master it in Windsor at his studio. What an excellent deal! Get the sound of the album up with the times and finished off, so exciting! Almost another year has passed and I’m ready to record a second album, which I hope to drop next fall. Album one is called Sing Girl! representing the momentum it took to get me this far, but the next album will be called Learning To Fly! I’m enjoying the ride, embracing my experience, and gaining momentum for a whole new way of life that feels like being in song all day everyday!

Multi-platinum record selling musician and record producer, Glenn Morrison is the archetype of the modern DJ/producer star. The 37-year-old Toronto native is as happy rocking an underground house party as he is performing at an exclusive oceanic rooftop venue; as adept at composing an international club anthem like ‘Contact’ as he is at concocting a pop dance record that strikes to the Billboard Charts in America.  His single ‘Goodbye’ has been Certified Double Platinum and went Number 1 for 11 weeks in a row on the Canadian Billboard Chart, as well as going Number 1 in Russia’s Billboard Chart.  It wound up taking over Eastern Europe and became Number 1 in 7 Countries to date.

He is signed to Sony Records, Universal Music Group and Sony Music ATV as a writer, producer, & recording artist. And he is perfecting a sinuous, hooky sound that combines the eerie beauty of pure techno with light rains of melody and flashes of emotion.

In short, Glenn Morrison is one of the most dynamic and accomplished talents in electronic music today. Period.

Morrison is a difficult DJ to pigeonhole and that’s what makes him such a fascinating talent. One minute his sound is ruthlessly minimal and funky; the next it’s washed in color and vocals and emotion.

Glenn has had an unusual career path. He started off as a classical pianist, a preteen prodigy, performing  – and winning – competitions. Then came a life-changing encounter with electronic music.

Production continues apace in the new mastering studio Morrison has built in Toronto, entitled Alpine Mastering (www.alpinemastering.com). Be it sound design for video game companies like Nintendo, EA Sports, Activision or Rockstar, or his own productions, he simply doesn’t stop making and playing music.  His latest partnership with IMAX has been a thrilling experience, pushing the boundaries of electronic music to that of sound-scoring live theatre visuals.  Glenn & IMAX unveiled this concept with a 3 part show series at the 2012 ComicCon event held at the Ruben H Fleet Science Centre in San Diego, and it was a huge success. “It’s been a liberating transition for me to make music for all different stylistic purposes, and I’m very grateful for having the ability to do what I love for a living” says Glenn.
