The Anjunadeep Explorations EP series returns, and on its 23rd instalment, features an unprecedented eight tracks. The various artist series, a showcase of fresh and emerging talent from the global electronic music scene, has previously paved the way for many much-loved Anjunadeep mainstays over the years including Marsh, Simon Doty, Luttrell and CRi.

The compilation kicks off with ‘Horizon’, a spellbinding collaboration between German producer Chris Luno and Turkish artist CEAUS, and features the hypnotic vocals of Paris-based vocalist Keilimei. The release follows Chris Luno’s recent debut on Lane 8's label This Never Happened. Chris has previously been supported by Diplo, Gordon City and Claptone, collaborated with Tube & Berger, and racked up over 35 million views on his Youtube channel since starting his widely popular Youtube mix series in 2020. CEAUS meanwhile, at the age of just 18, also has an impressive CV with releases on Nora En Pure’s Purified Records and Colorized to his name, as well as garnering support from reputable radio stations such as SiriusXM.

Canada-based producer Sinca is welcomed back to the compilation series following her label debut for Anjunadeep Explorations 19 with ‘Mancora’, which racked up over 1.3M streams on Spotify alone and won support from label boss James Grant in his sets. Her new track ‘Villeray’ pays homage to a special Montréal neighbourhood, and creates an alluring groove using delayed plucks and syncopated percussion.

LEGATO is Birmingham-based producer who debuted on Anjunadeep recently with his track ‘Petals’, a collaboration with Jody Wisternoff & James Grant that featured on flagship label compilation ‘Anjunadeep 14’ earlier this year. He’s previously released on labels such as All Day I Dream and Nightcolours, and been supported by the likes of Disclosure and Pete Tong. His new offering ‘I’ll Never Forget You’ comprises warm chords and relaxed percussion to create a balearic-influenced, evocative deep house track.

Berliner JAMIIE steps up for her label debut with her track ‘Tongue Of Flame’. JAMIIE has previously released on Watergate, Studio Kreuzberg and Cacao Records. ‘Tongue Of Flame’ is no exception to the slick melodic house and techno that has earned her support from and from the likes of Solomun, Just Her and BBC Radio 1's Jeremiah Asiamah.

Mexican duo Zombies In Miami have previously released on Berlin labels Watergate, Correspondent and Permanent Vacation, and collaborated with artists such as Biesmans. ‘Remember The Days’ is a peak-time ready dance track, combining the duo’s influences from house, Balearic, trance and Italo.

Igor Garanin returns the compilation series with ‘Clean Slate’, a collaboration with Australian producer Hiski, having previously featured on Anjunadeep Explorations 15. He recently featured on this year’s label Compilation ‘Anjunadeep 14’ with his remix of ‘Surge’ from legendary trance trio Above & Beyond.

The compilation rounds off with producer Joshua Moreno who lands on the label from his native Trinidad & Tobago with his track ‘Last Kind Deed’, and German live act, and This Never Happened alumnus oddchapters and his track ‘Fjord’.

Jellyfish come in a variety of types, from the massive Lion’s Mane jellyfish with tentacles over 100 feet long to the tiny, nearly invisible Irukandji, each with unique adaptations suited to their environment. By studying these diverse species, scientists can learn about efficient swimming mechanics, bio-luminescence, and even advanced healing processes, as jellyfish possess remarkable regenerative abilities. Additionally, some jellyfish, like the Turritopsis dohrnii, exhibit biological immortality, offering insights into aging and cellular regeneration that could have implications for human health research. After having worked on many large commercial projects throughout 2015 with Sony Music and Universal Records, being nominated for several Juno Awards, winning the SOCAN Awards 2015 Dance Record of the Year, nominated for Sirius XM Radio Music Awards Dance Act of the Year, going Number 1 on the Billboards in 5 countries, and having a double platinum record of my own song ‘Goodbye’ feat. Islove, it was important for me to musically reach back to my underground house roots.  Getting lost in a sea of A&R’s and indecision-makers, and going through an entirely new process of commercial record writing - with session musicians, vocalists, lyricists etc. - it was the opposite world of writing that I made my records (and success) from many years ago.  I needed to take a break and get back to writing these instrumental pieces where the riffs ARE the vocal lines, and the vibe was a sort of hypnotic mysticism mixed with late night mind bending chasers. ‘Into The Deep’ is a celebration of forward thinking progressive house music - a dash of eccentric and brash synth melodies juxtaposed with bright uppity grand piano chords and warped out arpeggiations.  This is a cohesive body of music here and I wrote this all from around August of 2015 until October (around 3 months).  I used a custom series 80 Neve console to get that wide character and the whole piece just really glued together with my mixing approach on this one.  I love the synth feel and the texture to those sounds - it’s really perfect for late night dark room mash out venues.  I hope you enjoyed this album as much as I did writing it and if you can give your feedback that helps me very much!

Anjunadeep warmly welcomes Simon Doty for his standalone label debut with stellar double cut 'Sonoma / Luna’. 

Following releases on Einmusika and Last Night On Earth, Doty first appeared on Anjunadeep Explorations 11 with 2019’s collaboration with Zein ‘Sama’. This time around the Toronto-based producer teams up with Ezequiel Arias on the arpeggio-laden ’Sonoma’, contrasting it’s fluttering instrumentation with the dark addictive bassline found in ‘Luna’.

A fairly new name to the Anjunadeep catalogue, Simon Doty's penchant for driving melodic house foretells a huge 2020 for the Calgary-native.

Multi-platinum record selling musician and record producer, Glenn Morrison is the archetype of the modern DJ/producer star. The 37-year-old Toronto native is as happy rocking an underground house party as he is performing at an exclusive oceanic rooftop venue; as adept at composing an international club anthem like ‘Contact’ as he is at concocting a pop dance record that strikes to the Billboard Charts in America.  His single ‘Goodbye’ has been Certified Double Platinum and went Number 1 for 11 weeks in a row on the Canadian Billboard Chart, as well as going Number 1 in Russia’s Billboard Chart.  It wound up taking over Eastern Europe and became Number 1 in 7 Countries to date.

Glenn has had an unusual career path. He started off as a classical pianist, a preteen prodigy, performing  – and winning – competitions. Then came a life-changing encounter with electronic music.

Production continues apace in the new mastering studio Morrison has built in Toronto, entitled Alpine Mastering (www.alpinemastering.com). Be it sound design for video game companies like Nintendo, EA Sports, Activision or Rockstar, or his own productions, he simply doesn’t stop making and playing music.  His latest partnership with IMAX has been a thrilling experience, pushing the boundaries of electronic music to that of sound-scoring live theatre visuals.
