I've spent a lot of the past two weeks in a flooded area of France testing underwater broadcasting equipment, and also undertaking broadcasting in an unused very old church. This sketch brings together the rebroadcast of drones both underwater (in the Seine), and in the old church all recorded at some distance, as well as an underwater recording of cycling through the many flooded pathways I encountered. I was interested in the different frequencies privileged or favoured by these two very different environments, with the hydrophones strongly favouring the higher frequencies from the underwater speaker, whereas the resonance of the church seemed to accentuate lower tones.
