As a prominent figure in the trance and progressive music scene, German music producer and DJ Dennis Sheperd has made a name for himself through exceptional talent, innovation, and dedication. Now based in Sofia, Bulgaria, Dennis consistently pushes the boundaries of the genre with inventive concepts and captivating tunes.

With four albums under his belt and over 50 million streams on Spotify, Dennis's career took off in 2007 with the release of "A Tribute to Life," an original track that embodied his positive philosophy. In 2011, his chart-topping anthem "Fallen Angel" caught the attention of industry giants such as Armin van Buuren, Markus Schulz and Ferry Corsten, leading to collaborations and remix opportunities with artists like Armin van Buuren, Above & Beyond, and Gareth Emery.

Dennis' impressive list of vocal collaborations showcases his versatility and creative vision. His pioneering efforts in crowdfunding the first-ever trance album in 2015 and launching the NFT project "Dennis Sheperd Inner Circle" in 2021 highlight his forward-thinking approach. In 2022, he mixed the prestigious In Search of Sunrise compilation, a mantle previously held by Tiësto.

Girlfriend Records was created by producer Eric Sferro and is owned by producer John Sagouspe (Johnatron) as an attempt to pay homage to the faded images and analog sounds of his childhood that continue to inspire his creations today. Deeply rooted in the mystique of the 1980's, Girlfriend Records catalog sees electro, funk, disco, and house knocking knees with college rock, shoegaze, post-punk, new wave, and hip-hop to create musical hybrids that are comfortingly nostalgic, yet unmistakably modern. Johnatron and Sferro cull releases from an array of respected producers, each of whom brings a different perspective and approach to create a unified body of work that constantly morphs and evolves.
