Introducing Pruvan to Tectonic and to the world, with this debut EP of soundsystem smashing beats! The US-born, Czech-based producer has carved a fresh space, bringing next level sounds together with finely tuned production skills.

The next release on Livity Sound’s Reverse label comes from Dayzero, a Japanese producer immersed in the deeper end of the dubstep spectrum. His appearance continues a long-term connection between underground music scenes in Bristol and Tokyo, previously crystalised in much-missed Naoki E-Jima’s Disc Shop Zero and the BS0 project. 

Dayzero’s approach on Daruma EP is steeped in the heads-down immersion of dubstep. Spring reverb splashes through ‘Ten’ and the title track’s sparse construction gets embellished by roots-minded FX processing, which nods to his 2020 release on esteemed US dub label ZamZam Sounds. With an unusual and varied palette applied to his stripped back productions, Dayzero captures the moody intensity and open-eared attitude of the early dubstep scene while leaning in on his own unique style.

We are thrilled to present a succinct EP from the broken techno heavy hitter, Flaw. Drawing rhythmic influences from genres such as dancehall, grime and acid house, Flaw lets the drums do the talking, stripping his sound down to simple, bleeped-out synth sequences, overbearing atmosphere, heaving low end and driving motion. This EP is as sure to be as fit for warming up a room in the early hours of the night as will be for pummeling an already heaving dance floor to oblivion.

The EP will be out on all digital outlets August 10th.
