Captured - Annie Dieu-Le-Veut

Wrote this one late at night when I couldn’t shake a certain feeling — like I was standing between who I used to be and who I’m trying to become after losing someone very close. The lyrics came out raw, almost too real, but I kept them that way. Didn’t overthink the production either… piano, strings, a few touches here and there — it just felt right. Kai’s vocals hit this delicate balance I didn’t even know I needed until I heard it back.

This one sat on private for weeks while I tried to pull it apart, but I couldn’t bring myself to change a thing. It's not perfect, but it’s honest — and maybe that’s the point. Hope it finds the ones who need it.

here is my newest track! A cover-version of Stevie Wonder's 1976 song "If It's Magic", originally released on his legendary album "Songs In The Key Of Life". I always adored the melody even though I'm not that big of a fan of the harp instrumentation in the original. Here, I tried my best with a slow background accompaniment. I hope you like it!
